I'm very disappointed with the service offered by Chicagoland carpet cleaners. I hired them to clean my apartment because I was moving out. On they phone, they only quoted me $125 for the cleaning and told me that it would cost extra for spot treatments (like wine stains etc.) But when they came over, the technician bumped up the estimate to $475. When I protested, he said the $125 was only for a 'basic' steam cleaning and that he could not do anything beyond that for the initial estimate amount. The breeders and secretary work out of their homes and ask that you only call between 10 am and 9 pm and no calls on holidays. Protect America, Inc is a security system company. They suppose to protect you but watch out if you didn't read their contract carefully you will get trapped!!! In my case I got a 2 years contract and I moved 4 months before the contract is up. I called them for termination and I faxed a cancellation letter to them. The apartment complex has a deal with Time Warner Cable that gets them money. So, they are not allowing the residents to choose the cable service they want by locking up the box for the connection and refusing access to the other cable companies. We asked for access so that we can choose the service that we want, but they are not relenting. We were not informed about any such rule when we signed the lease. We have had all our 7 lines down for over 2 hours this morning. They were fixing a mistake they made by creating another. It seems that Verizon has various vendors calling/harassing you to improve your current plan. They put us on a service without our approval. So, I had to call to finally return us back to our regular plan and credit us. So, they decided to change our lines DURING WORK HOURS (no approval, no notice)! On receipt of the product, which was broken, the merchant refused to issue a return authorization number. Their shipper had an unauthorized person sign, even though the appropriate person was clearly listed on the bill of lading. I purchased the Hot Phonecard in Auckland New Zealand with the understanding that calling rate to the US was about $.02 a minute. Mechanic at Monroe Muffler caused damage to struts and strut plates in order to make more money. I took my car in for a wheel alignment and an oil change. I arrived at 7:30 am on September 1, 2008. The mechanic drove my car then placed it on the rack. 2 hours later the mechanic came and told me he would not be able to do an alignment on my car because the front struts were busted and rusted and the strut plates were sticking. I have tried for a couple of days to cancel service, do to the fact that it will not work on my phone line any more. Attempts to cancel via their home page was a hassel and after hours of trying to fill out the information required... once I clicked on "cancel service" they would boot me off the site everytime. I purchased a medication online from phdparmacy.com and what they sent me were counterfeit pills. I paid 295.00!! First they gave me a bogus tracking number. Then when the pills came they showed up in the mailbox when they are supposed to be signed for. They were packaged very unprofessionally. I booked a 3 star rating hotel in Overland Park, KS, expecting to receive a moderate class hotel. Instead I received the economy hotel of Drury (PEAR TREE INN) a 2 star property. After calls with Hotwire all they did was read to me comments from guest that stayed there. Hotwire rated the property as a 3 star and would not change their stand. Was recently looking for a carpet cleaning service in my local ad pages. 2 came up, 1 offered 7 rooms carpet shampooed and deep cleaned For 189.00. I only needed 4 rooms cleaned and decided to instead go with MER who said there prices would be better. I wish i could say that you get what you pay for but that would have been welcome. My wife took my son to Great Clips one day after his getting a back cut from the Asst Mangr. The Asst Mangr actually called my son a liar about him not wanting the bad hairstyle(it was a horrible chopped cut). This is regarding the HP office bus, route number HP ST SD ROUTE 23, Vehicle number KA01C8043. The driver was completely drunk in the morning at about 8.40 A.M and the bus was boarded with HP employees and then at Bellandur junction hit our car in which me, my son ( 3 years) and my husband were in. After logging a complaint with the HP - SRS guys, we did not get any support from them (Mr. Sadanan) rather they have been sending us back and forth from one person to other. None of the customer service representatives that I have spoken with are consistent with their knowledge of how this service works. I feel like I was penalized (and actually I was) for making a payment before it was due. When I first subscribed to this company, I asked for all the details as to how this service worked.
