I worked for three hours on the evening of July 3, 2008 as a contractor for Cheltenham Center for the Arts. They paid me with a check that bounced. I demanded a replacement check along with the $10 that my bank fined ME for their irresponsibility. I downloaded cyberdefender from a freeware site (yea- I know, you get what you pay for). I ran it and it found LOTS of problems that Windows LiveCare didn't. CWE have given a complaint for non functioning of the refrigerator about 15-20 days back. A person visited our place and informed that the compressor has to be checked and gas has to be filled. He came after two days to do the same, but immediately the next day, the condition of the refrigerator was the same. My company has been a customer of Avaya for probably 2 decades. We have had a contract to provide maintenance to our Merlin phone system. Each year, when the contract was up for renewal, Avaya violated their own contract by failing to notify us of pending increases in the monthly rate. This is an awful company; do not ever deal with them. They send out products so poorly packaged that they come damaged. They require you to comply with their policy to notify them within 48 hours of the damage and send in pictures. I did this and they agreed that the items were damaged and would replace them but they never did. I called and called and spoke to customer service people over and over. I hired Miller Cleaning Inc. of Lincoln, NE to clean my home and paid in advance for 1 year to get a lower per visit rate ($1880-not cheap!). You can complain to the FCC online. They ripped me off as well. The only way to get the money back is to fill out FCC 2000F form online. Just threaten the company with the complaint to get the refund. Fill the form out anyway they need to be stopped. Even after you stop Orbit they may bill it through ESBI or if they are billing you Orbit Telecom may bill you directly. It may take a few months to get it strait. I went to Shop Rite in Old Bridge on Rt 9 North by the Ferry Roud. I wanted to get some cheese and ham for my family breakfast. I was very surprised when instead of thank you I got harassed by one of the workers for making they work hard for my order! I ordered phone service thru ATT a few weeks ago with an install date for 9/2. I was not initially given a window of time and was basically told it was anytime in the day. I took off work and spent the day home waiting for them. I called in to ATT a number of times and the automated machine kept hanging up on me.
