In late 2006 I purchased a engine from Michigan Motor Exchange for my Jeep. It was the famous 4.0L inline six. I paid a pretty penny for the engine.. $2, 377.28 and they did not install it. I had purchased tire chains on a winter trip in December of 2007 in Oregon. I was told if I didn't use the chains it was no problem to return them. When I took them to the Les Schwab in San Carlos California (bay area), I was told I must have the receipt. We contacted the number listed to reserve a house in Las Vegas, Nevada. The problem started immediately. They quoted us a price of $496 including the $100 non refundable cleaning deposit. Ordered Bluetooth earpiece on 7/4/08. Confirmation e-mail says to expect in 7-10 days. I contact them via customer service e-mail and phone. Phone is message only and no one returns my calls. The e-mail address in my confirmation order e-mail is no good and rejects when I attempt to send a query. Service was very good for several years up until a few months ago. My IP address is dropped almost consistently around 4-5pm every day. There are intermittent outages all day long. Not sure what has happened and no one at customer support can tell me anything. A few reps have admitted it's something on their end. The next day someone else denies it. They send tech supports out who find absolutely nothing wrong of course. I rented from this company and it was a living nightmare. They care nothing about you. All they care about is keeping a unit occupied. I wrote letter after letter, called the police on numerous occasion because of noisy tenants and I was told I needed proof that they were noisy. They mess up 75% of your orders, sell items on their store which are NOT in stock then notify you that they are back ordered (average wait time 3-4 weeks), send the wrong items, send out items using MEDIA MAIL when you choose USPS Priority, do not even follow their own policies, take average of 1 week to reply via email with NO PHONE NUMBER! I joined this site on 10/29/07 and cashed out $75 around 12/27/07 and another $75 around the beginning of February 08.
