On the 16th of sept. 2006 I was confirmed on your flight [IB0211] taking off from Malaga to Madrid to catch flight [IB3234] heading home. I reached the airport and actually was queuing for my flight well before the statutory 45 minutes of the boarding time. Prior to reaching the counter #212, the ground hostess announced the flight was closed. In order to catch my Madrid flight, I was further recommended by your people to buy a new ticket on 'AirEuropa', next door. I had no choice but to pay AirEuropa 206.90E to purchase thi... read full review »

Alexis Park Resort and Spa
November 3, 2006
We attended a conference at the Alexis Park Resort and Spa in Las Vegas in October. When we arrived the conference of what would be about 160 of us had already started. Right away we were told that the Secretary of the groups room had been broken into and that conference registration money had been stolen. Unbelievably at 4:30 am that morning I was woken by a loud noise and yelled at my husband to wake up that someone was breaking into our room. I opened the door from the bedroom to the bathroom to find a woman in our bathroom! I... read full review »

Days Inn - Sacramento
November 2, 2006
I stayed at the Days Inn Sacramento on 10/28/06. The people in the room next to me were loud all night long. I called the front desk to complain at 12:30 am, 2 am, and 3:45 am. I was told secrity was sent over to talk to them but the partying did not stop until 4:30 am. Needless to say I did not get much sleep that night. I have written emails to my travel booking agent, the corporate office and the hotel itself. I have heard nothing back yet. I feel they should have put me in another room or kicked those people out if they were not going to sleep. I am also asking for a complete refund. read full review »

Fairmont Hotel - San Jose
November 2, 2006
I booked a two (2) night stay at this hotel as a surprize for my husband who just returned from Malaysia. Upon check in I was charged twice for over $800.00 + $50.00 for a parking fee. The next day I couldn't use my debit card, I was "over my limit". I called my bank and was told that the Fairmont had put authorizations of nearly $1800.00 on my card! I went to the front desk to complain and called from our mini-suite. They sent up a couple cigars for my husband, but couldn't resolve the problem for my debit card. So... read full review »

City Hotel
November 1, 2006
In October 2006, I booked into City Hotel, Amsterdam (above the Old Bell Pub). I had stayed there 5 years ago, and found it basic, but clean. I booked over the internet which featured photos of large, clean rooms. Upon arrival we were taken to a room in another building. The stairs were steep and winding, the walls and carpets stained and filthy, and the air stank of mould. The room was as bad, plus stained sheets and a blood-stained mattress. I returned to the desk, explained that this was not the room I had booked, and that it wa... read full review »

Your Last Resort LLC
November 1, 2006
My wife and I own a timeshare in Quebec, Canada. We were contacted by Your Last Resort LLC, Dan Goodman was the contact. We finally decided to list our timeshare with Your Last Resort LLC in February of 2005. Their "Your Last Resort LLC Guarantee" was the deciding factor to our listing. We figured we had nothing to lose. The timeshare was for sale for the required one year but nothing happened. So we sent them a copy of the original signed contract by registered mail within the required time as specified in the guarantee. Nothing... read full review »

Princess Cruises
October 30, 2006
Mid 1998 I contacted a local travel agent to book a Princess cruise for 4 (my fiancé and I and my two daughters) to celebrate the Millennium -- i.e. New Years Cruise 1999. I was told that no brochures had yet been printed but that the details -- dates, ports, and so on -- were available, and that we could make a booking for a deposit of $500 per person (total $2,000 US) to hold two specific staterooms. Booking so far in advance of travel I was concerned about cancellation policy, but my travel agent was assured by her Prince... read full review »

AeroMexico
October 27, 2006
Yesterday, my mother had a Aeromexico 4:40 PM flight from Guadalajara to L.A. I'm sure since the flight less than capacity given that this isn't the busiest time of year, Aeromexico cancelled the flight and put her and everyone else that had that flight onto their next one, which was 5 hours later. This shows the airline puts no value on a customer’s time. All they offered was a meal voucher. They wouldn't even offer to put her on the next flight out to L.A. on Mexicana, Delta, or any other airline. People were outraged... read full review »

Cendant (Days Inn)
October 26, 2006
Cendant (Days Inn) offer a 'best price' guarantee - but it appears it is impossible to obtain. Cendant customer staff is rude and obnoxious. I don't know next steps to escalate this, at best it is deception. Try it - book a room online at www.daysinn.com (you can cancel later) then search for a lower price same hotel room online (it's easy to find). File the claim form and Cendant will have one reason after another why they refuse to honor their commitment on their website. In my situation, Cendant first said that they... read full review »

Don't fall victim!! This is what happened to me: I was taken to breakfast and then told how I could make lots of money if I bought several timeshare weeks with Mayan Resorts and rented them out. I was given figures (which I never got copies of) by my salesman that would make me good money. I later found these figures to be grossly exaggerated.
