The place is infested with bedbugs. We told the property manager, Jennifer Mohrman and she accused us of bringing the bugs in. My friends' daughter turns one today and still has a huge disgusting rash from these bugs. At 200+ night, one would expect a clean place to lay your head down...instead our trip was a nightmare! Stayed at the Bear rock Lodge in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee only to find that the place was infested with bedbugs. When we complained to the property manager, she accused us of bringing the bedbugs into her cabin. Worse yet, she is not getting of the infected mattresses. I just hope future travelers don't have this problem! I have reported her to the bedbug registry...but there is not much else I can do..other than get the word out. 16th Jan 2011, I took off my wedding ring to wash my face before rushing off to the airport (LAX) and upon reaching the airport, found my ring missing. I called Portofino Anaheim immediately and cried for help. But the ring has gone missing. I'm very sure the chamber maid took it since she was already outside the door when we left. The hotel advertise ammedities that were not available, they advertise pool service, suana, computer, fitness room and wireless service which all were out of order. The hotel did not want to offer a discount on the stay or money back. There are only 54 resorts (20 all in Florida) and they are only located about 20 states, not including popular California, New Mexico, Utah, Washington, Illinois, Colorado, and many others. Travelling from a P&O Cruise on Oceana I had 2 pieces of airplane hold baggage held in security at Acapluco, 2 other families also had 2 pieces of baggage each, all had been interfered with and some with articles stolen. 2 cases had locks removed and one had the front pocket opened and slit with a knife to remove items from the main internal compartment. Buyer Beware! They put a $265 hold on my credit card for 2 weeks for a 1 night stay. The room was prepaid, but they asked for my credit card in case there were incidentals.
