I booked a room through Hotels.com for one night in London on 12 Feb 2009 which amounted to £74.75p. When my credit card statement came through there were 2 separate amounts, both listed as Ian Travel Services. The first was for a sum of £149.73 listed as 28 Jan 2009. There was then the correct amount of £74.75p listed as the 1 Feb 2009. I have absolutely no knowledge of any amount for £149.73p and did not book or authorise this amount. I have informed my credit card company of the facts. I might add I received a confirmation e-mail from Hotels.com for the lesser amount. read full review »

I requested the "best value" from Tucson to Phoenix roundtrip for $72.50, as posted on their website. My credit card was charged over $175. I called and was told I could cancel and get a refund. Knowing I already have NORTON protection, I tried to X out but wouldnt let me.SO...all it would let me do was down load their product for 49.95. Well of course, it wouldn't down load. I contacted them by phone, only to recieve a recording telling me to leave a message all 5 times that I called. You may find a recuring charge on your CC or checking account that looks something like this: TLG*GREATFN########JUN 800-290-8603. In my case it was a scam set up by Priceline (I'm sure Shatner would NOT apporve). Appparently there was some sort of descrite checkbox or something that was checked when I purchased a flight. Whatever the case, I called the number on my bill and had Great Fun remove the charges. This sort of thing is absolutely unscrupulous. I resent when companies do this sort of thing. We purchased $6000 worth of furniture in July 08, with delivery date in September 08. I had some issue with my patio cover and called American Patio Cover Plus they promised to call me back but they never did. They Just has this habit of receiving call and always promise to call back but they never do. I received a fax back in Feb. 2008 at my work in a large corporate office. I figured it was a great deal with $397 a person. All of the information seemed to be there. I booked a flight for my wife, infant son and I to Singapore (11/2/2009). Three quarters of the way through the booking and, sadly, after the payment screen, the internet connection went down. We also purchased a 2 bedroom suite at Villa Del Arco, we love Cabo and go there a couple of times a year so we though it would be wonderful. WRONG!
