My husband received a National Sweepstakes Winner Notification letter from Lucky Surf.com located at 1263 West Lanford Ave. Battle Creek, MI 45018, yesterday congratulating him on winning $25, 000.00. Enclosed was an Official Check in that amount. The letter stated that a cashier's check was also enclosed to "offset the cost of a Prize Seepstakes Affidavit in the amount of $2950.00USD. The letter went on to read that the affidavit had to be obtained through the Law Firm of Burke and Reinhart and provided a contact person by the name... read full review »

Direct Knife Sales
brentbrent July 11, 2009
I purchased a butterfly knife from Direct Knife Sales, which is apparently owned and operated by Richard Keeton, to give to my son as a birthday present. After my son received it, he told me it is defective. Mr. Keeton refused to allow me to return or exchange it, citing the company's five-day return policy, which is buried in their shipping terms page. That page on their web site also says, 'we check our knives before they go out the door for imperfections. We do guarantee our knives. if you have any problems with them just let... read full review »

I ordered a muzzle cage from this company. Returned it when it didn't fit. This was in July of 2008. I immediately tried calling and left message, no reply. Wrote numerous emails, no reply. Finally got a reply today, march 2009, saying it was too long ago, and if I had in fact returned it, they'd have refunded me. Well, I sent the package, with insurance and tracking, so I know they got it! What a bunch of Crap.! They waited till it was too long ago, for them to reply. Do not do business with these people! read full review »

I ordered a set of items on Saturday (4/12) as a gift for my sister. There were 3 shipping options - Regular delivery (7-10 business days), Express Delivery (Delivery by 4/16) and Super Fast Delivery (Delivery by 4/14). Since the birthday was 4/14 - I paid an inordinate amount of money to cover the cost of 'super-fast' shipping. On Tuesday (4/14), I noticed the order was still 'in process' and sent a note out to the customer service department asking what the challenge was. I got a response indicating it... read full review »

I purchased and received five light fixtures over the internet from stockblowout.com. Upon inspection, I discovered that at least one of the light fixtured is used and had been touched up repackaged and sold as new. I contacted the seller and was told that their return policy stated I could only exchange the items for other products they sold. I certainly don't trust them now and ZI don't have the luxury of the time to wait for an exchange. Please do not buy from this company. read full review »

On line offers not honored when you check in. We accepted the Hotels on line offer for April Bed & Breakfast with the 3rd night stay free, When we checked in they refused to give us the breakfast coupons but told us we would have the third night free. When we checked out they refused to give us the 3rd night free. There was no thermostat in the room so we froze. We constantly lost internet and call reception even on the overpriced Hotel computers. This company 'Dr-hu.com', once they get your money, will not return it, will lie, make excuses, and then 'sell' you (offset) things you don't want (nor need), and think they can get away with it. Thats why I'm here, this website advertises, sales, collects money, and does not provide the item(s) purchased. Judging from my experience with them, their responses, and their resolution, it's pretty evident that a part of their business is merely cheating people. On January 9th, 2009 I purchased 2 item... read full review »

The Auction Resource.net
Auction Resource, LC July 10, 2009
We have received several calls over the last two or so months with regard to people saying that we are taking money out of their account, or charging their credit cards and they don't know why. When asked who is doing this, they indicate The Auction Resource.net. Secondly, when asked who gave them our number, they indicate either their bank or The Auction Resource.net themselves. We are Auction Resource, LC and have never taken money out of people's accounts. We would like this to be noted and would like to see something done about falsely accusing Auction Resource, LC when it is in actuality The Auction Resource.net. read full review »
