I bought a king-sized "Sleep Number" bed in 2006 on QVC. This bed is sold in malls all over the U.S. as "Select Comfort." QVC gets them in mass at a discounted price and then can pass the discount on to the public. While I was sitting at a red light, a Sears Truck blew by me and ran the light. The driver continued ahead and ran the next red light. There was a pedestrian and several cars waiting to move into the intersection as it was in front of a Community College. I was shocked at the speed at which this truck was moving. My home was burglarized on 09/05/2009. All my jewelry, a shotgun, camera, computer were taken. Farmers insurance covered the new window and sent a check for a small amount to cover some replacement costs. Beware of Wellness Performance Institute. They will keep charging your card long after you cancel your contract. I cancelled my contract 6 months ago, and they are still charging me. I purchased via Paypal this software that is supposed to recover files from damaged, corrupted drives. The software just appeared to be scanning the damaged external hard disk and created a "directory tree" but after paying for the software I found that there were NO FILES in the folders. It was a complete waste of time and money. When I emailed their support service all I got was comments about using the "registration key" and downloading the "full version" The story has a happy ending in that I found an Open Source program that recovered the vast majority of my data. read full review »

When I filled a complaint with PayPal, two weeks later, the seller Stephanie Adame wrote me a rude email and started making up excuses on why I hadn't received the items. Have received a phone message at home and at work from "Llyod Banks" at 559-823-5337. Claimed to work for Law Group of California and that they were about to file a lawsuit against me. Said I needed to call immediately to settle this or give him my lawyers name. I was given no information about who was bringing suit against me or why. I was told that if I didn't call back, there was nothing he could do for me. This scam is very similar to to one I experienced in the spring, when an Asian fellow named "Danny" called me repeatedly for about 2 months. Today 9-22-2010 I received a bill in the mail from my credit card company with a charge of $159.00 on it from AW-SWIPE-BID.COM. I never bid on anything and got out of the site immediatly.
