Arbys / Roast Burger
Mary Denise February 10, 2010
My husband and I both tried your new Roast Burgers (bacon cheddar) and your potato bites. We were very disappointed. The Roast Burgers had very little meat. We also had mozzarelli sticks and potato bites. Both had the same coating, which was changed from the original recipe. The bites were inedible, even when dipped. We definitely will not be eating these items again although we are frequent diners in your restaurants. Don't change things if you expect people to continue patronizing your establishments. read full review »

I was charged $79.98 after ordering a product that was only to be $4. I called the company to see about a refund but they did not even want to listen to my situation and just told me that it was not their problem. I understand that there is sometimes there are misunderstandings but most would feel that a company would help a person out instead of beating them down with their agreements. I will be calling my bank and have them help me work on this and also if I have to I will be getting a hold of my lawyer. read full review »

IPower Web
Posker February 10, 2010
This is a horrible company to do business with. Not only have I experienced the worst support one could imagine including website going down multiple times for extended periods but here is the latest story. I cancelled an OPTIONAL service with the company but they charged my CC anyway. I issued a chargeback for $12 which is what was billed since I cancelled the service and should not have been charged. IPOWERWEB then suspended my account and FORCED me to purchase the optional service and charged me a $15 service fee on top of that! They shut... read full review »

Sears / Nordictrack Treadmill
Spavse February 10, 2010
Purchased a treadmill from Sears in August 2006 for $1700 and a 5 year warranty for $475. Allegedly covers all parts and service. Called to request service, sears claimed Nordictrack was to service. Nordictrack claimed extended warranty was covered by Sears. Spent 50 minutes being transferred between companies - Sears claimed they had no record of the warranty. Finally put in queue for UTS (Universal Technical Services) and was on hold for one hour 18 minutes. I tried to work for Silverleaf in an ethical way but the direction from the top and the pressure they place on you makes any kind of ethical selling impossible. It is impossible to compete with individuals and resorts willing to sell their soul to the devil by cheating, lying and stealing from members. The leaders of this company, David O'Connor, Jeremy Brayfield, & Denny Moore are major con artists that thrive on illegal selling activities. Credit One / Credit Card
Besst February 10, 2010
Beware of Credit One Credit cards. In the contract you accept, there is a clause that they will charge you a monthly fee even if there is no balance on the card. If you don't pay the fee on time, you get a $29 late fee...those fees for nothing add up quickly!! Then when you phone for assistance, and you FINALLY get a human, you are transferred repeatedly and they will NOT remove the fees and late fees for keeping the card open!... read full review »

Advanta Bank / Credit Card
Olgren February 10, 2010
I received a small business credit card in April 2008 at 7.99%. The first thing I noticed that disturbed me is that the due dates changed every month. Unless I was vigilant, this would result in late payments - a major annoyance since I set up auto-pay online to pay on the same date every month. This is a sneaky technique disreputable companies use to skirt the law by setting up your payments based on 30 days - most people don't notice, and then the company gives you a "gotcha" late fee of $39. If this takes you over your credit... read full review »

Dimension Service Corporation / 3rd Party Auto Warranty
Hamilton February 10, 2010
Never buy a 3rd party auto warranty for your used car. The big 3 offer aftermarket warranties for their cars and they cost more, but there is a reason. I just had my Ford transmission go at only 10K into the warranty with Amerigard and while they aggreed that the tranmission had to be replaced, they have a cap (in section IV on the warranty) of $2000 no matter what it costs. This car has a CVT transmission which itself was $4400 and of course labor to put it in. It was never mentioned when I bought this policy. They did offer to help out and... read full review »

Long, long ago, when my grandfather was a boy, he would pay very little(a coin or two) for a bag of Cracker Jack, and would get a very good prize. You would get a piece of paper. OH NO! It's not a piece of paper! It's a pencil eraser-topper! Hours of fun! Whee! Well, those plentiful days of paper-prizes are apparently gone.
