I ordered the neckline slimmer for about twenty dollars. When my final purchase order was printed out, the company had charged me for the "free items, " so my bill had become around $90.00. When I went to call them, they have ways of making sure that you can't get through. They obviously block you from doing this, so that no one can cancel their orders before they're processed. So, I made a big mistake and got involved with United Readers Service Inc. It sounded good and I jumped right in. I did not record any phone calls, and I did not keep the paperwork they sent me (big mistake). I called Verizon to check and they said that there was no such account of mine from that time. I lost my phone in a taxi when I called the company, I was told they would look for the phone but chances ofrecovery of an item left in the back of a cab were slim. I tried to write a check for a purchase and the check was refused by Certegy. I have not written a hot check ever. I have an excellent credit rating. Repair work was authorized in March of 2009 by Heritage Warranty Group. Faxed all requested paperwork by Warranty company and never received payment. Called several times and spoke with different customer reps and have been given the same answer...their company is about a year behind on claim payments.
