I just found out that we are locked into a 3 year contract with these people, which of course is not what the original sales rep told us, but yes sadly there it is in the fine print of a 5 page agreement that we were given after we signed that we agreed to their "terms". This company contacted me on Feb. 2009 and told me that they had a contract with my lender and that they can get my house payments lowered by working with my lender by doing a loan modification. We purchased a Sealy Posturpedic California King mattress set from Wickes furniture, the top of the line from them with a payment program. We bought this in June of 2007 and the bed has a large dip on one side of the bed in less than a years time. My husband was hired and sent to Murray KY for orientation. When orientation ended, they did not have any trucks available to put him or numerous other drivers in. They put them up in hotel rooms, then have them check out half a dozen times. Leave them sitting, without work they can't make money to eat and live off of while waiting for them to get it together. I am infuriated with Bloomingdales. My family has been customers with the company from the early 1980's I was not sent a bill and they sent the debt to a collections agency. When I confronted them with this issue and when they looked up my information on the computer they realized that they lost the best customer, i have in all my years always paid the bill in full.
