When I received the corerespondence from Ms Kelly, I tried to work out a plan. I was told that I could not unless I could pay the debt out right. Of course that was impossible, if it were possible I would not be in default. She then informed me that they would be taking 25% of the amount owed, so I figured that I could not fight so I braced for the worst. As the debt went down the deduction did not. I noticed a charge on my home phone bill for this company. I called them and denied ever signing up for a $14.95 per month service to watch internet tv. They claimed I did since they had my name and phone number on file and that the only way they would have it is if I gave it to them. When I explained that my phone number and name is listed in the phone book and demanded to speak to a supervisor, the operator offered to send me a refund check for $16 and take me off their billing list permanently. I had a BoA credit card with elite rewards program and had accrued over 100K points that expired NOV'11 because BoA cancelled the program and Elite rewards closed my account. they claim they sent me a notice, I didn't recieve it and the original contract claimed points expired 4yrs after a purchase, so when they elected to cancel my points immediatly that breaks the contract we had in place. A totally bad experience. Been buying screens from Screen Country for our repair shop in California since 2008. Almost all have either been the completely wrong model, or they come malfunctioning. Customer service is terrible. They are slow to respond and offer no reparations for any mistakes. The last time I purchased a screen from them they first sent the wrong LCD entirely, and second they shipped one with pink vertical lines. Our client waited over two weeks and screen country didn't offer anything beyond fulfilling the original order. The main reason I want to do my taxes online is to be able to efile. I expect that when my tax return is completely filled out and an online tax service like TurboTax tells me that I'm done, that I'll be able to efile. TurboTax online supposedly does a check of the tax return info and then allows you to move forward to charge your credit card and efile. But it charges your card AND THEN does one final check. The first week of January I was bombarded with payday loan e-mails. I thought I had deleted all of them, but when I received my checking account statement mid-month, I noticed an extra $300.00 deposit. I attended a time share with a company in the summer and for my time was compensated with a Spirit Travel voucher for a cruise and associated airfare. HIS IS A SCAM. I ordered a dvd box set and what I received was a knock off set of burned dvds that came from China. The dvds work, but the quality is not good. No where on their website do they tell you the product is not an original or that it is being shipped from overseas. I suggest you spend the extra money to get the real deal from a legitimate store.
