I'm continuing from the last one. If I'm not mistaken they are claiming that we owe them six hundred dollars. Now to me that's ridiculous period, no matter how many magazines you order. We had 4-5 magazines but I just looked up 4 of them and no way did it come out to six hundred dollars a year. The four I checked came out to a little over one hundred. My husband has received many phone calls at work and I have received several on my cell from these people. I answered an add on 1/15/2011 14 day free trial for some anti-aging cream, I received it a couple of days later and began to use it. I used it a couple of times only to have a reaction to the cream, I tried to call and cancell my order and to return the left over but could never get a response to the phone number that they gave you. I recently purchased a 10 year old used automobile from this dealer Auto Loan Guaranteed in Bridgeview, Il. I was told that I was preapproved before I came into the dealer and that 1, 000 dollars down would guarantee my approval regardless of credit. I purchased an INTEX inflatable airbed at Shopko on March 7 for 39.99 which was a 20% off the regular price. I also used a $10 coupon which I had from purchasing 10 presciptions from their pharmacy. On March 10 the same INTEX airbed was advertised as 40% off. I took my receipt to Shopko to get an adjustment / refund since the airbed was on sale for even more off than I originally paid. I leased a credit card machine from Golden Eagle Leasing years ago. I actually can't remember how long ago, but it was in the 1990's. I cancelled the contract a couple years after getting the machine. I finally figured out it was a ripe-off. I really wish I'd had the foresight to Google these JK Harris people BEFORE I wrote them a check for $4000.00 two years ago!! So after almost a year, all they did was arrange a lifetime payment plan with the IRS (at the wrong amount I might add). I could have done that myself and saved my money. Horrible service!!! I spent half a day, waiting for the service tech. to come. The appointment was scheduled 2 weeks earlier to have my refrigerator serviced. They never showed up! For the past six months, we have had a charge of $12.99 made to our Visa. Unfortunately, we have many charges on this card and check them daily; however we did not catch this charge. My husband called the 877-488-9480 and was offered a $20 rebate offer from Shop.com. He argued and was finally told he would receive a credit for $12.99. I had dermal filler Relastin injected to my face by Dr Lynette Stewart with the goal to remove a faint wrinkle on the left side of my mouth. I paid $550 for this procedure. The wrinkle did disappear. I ordered cabinets from RTA Cabinet Store and a matching piece of crown molding in the Chestnut Maple. The 8 ft piece of crown cost almost $40 and it was a joke. It was wrapped in what looks like plastic veneer and the dark line detail is drawn on with black marker. My 2 year old son could have made this. There is no way that anyone in their right mind would use this in their home. I have now attempted to contact the claims department 5 times with no response. I went to Mcdonalds drive thu and ordered two of the Mcdoubles for $1.00 each. Going down the road while eating the first of the cheap Mcdouble I bit into something in the meat, not thinking to inspect what I bit into I swallowed whatever it was in their hamburger meat. I have two charges on my credit card statement from an unknown entity. I don't know how they got my card information. One charge is for $3.15 and the other is for $10.63. Both charges accurred on Feb 26, 2011. While they don't amount to much, I'm sure if they continue to nickel and dime everyone they can, they can come up with a lot of money. Painting and Molding Masters did work for me recently, their price was competitive - not the lowest, the owner and others who did the work were pleasant. But their work was deplorable and I am still cleaning paint splattered on wood floors, paint spilled on carpet and fixing damages they did to my home. Beware of them...because you may like the price ...but you won't like the splattered paint and the moldings that were not done correctly. I was horrified to find I received a bill for $76 yesterday for $1 of tolls assessed to my car during the one day I was driving a Dollar rental car during my recent trip to Florida. I made every attempt to pay tolls in cash during my recent trip.
