When I first spoke to my salesperson he seemed very astute and I felt giving him a chance would be great since there wasn't anything to lose. Unfortunately, his support people did little to get us business and we never even received one phone call. I called them when I realized they were advertising us in a wrong category and never got a call back. I have to say I was disappointed. I applied to raise money against an old works pension I had invested with Legal & General. I was given a quote by Legal & General on 24/6/10 that £859 would be deducted from the transferred funds which they called the M. V. adjustment. This lending company is by far the worst I have ever encountered in my 43 years in finance. I have never experienced such aggression and harassment from a loan company over minor issues. An example: our mortgage payment is due on 1st of each month. I had a water leak at my leak and was charged over $500 to repair the water leak. The leak had been undetected until the meter was read and within days, the repair was completed by Keefe Plumbing. The water bill was outrageous! The same signs of the leak were witnessed and the company was called back to find no leak, but the water bill again was outrageous.
