hair removal products for men and women
Veronica Waters LLB May 9, 2009
I have been using your products for 30 years and never had a problem until I began to use your "wax strips"!. I spent over $200.00 on your products to take on a trip and when I got to my destination and attemted to use wax strips, well, they did absolutly nothing. I was very frustrated that the location where I was staying did not have any thing similar . Needless to say I avoided the beach in the Carribean! Very angry! I was unable to return these usless products and am out money as well as a somewhat ruined vacation. I was surprised... read full review »

Titans Car Rental
Max May 8, 2009
I rented a car from Titans at the Montreal location but when I arrived to pick it up, there was no car available for me. After waiting 15 minutes for a car to come in, the manager at Titans suggested that I rent a car from another rental place and that he would refund me the difference in cost. He proceeded to book another vehicle online on my behalf, and informed me that I would be reimbursed for using his suggestion. After returning from my trip, I emailed and faxed all the documents and receipts and was always given a response that... read full review »

Ontario Energy Savings
C. Mads May 7, 2009
I purchased my first home in March 2008 and a few months later Ontario Energy Savings (OES) came to my door offering to lock in my Gas and Electricity Rates. Reasons for this were because the rates were soon going up. After contemplating and pressure from the company (coupled with my inexperience as a new home owner), I signed the contract to flat rate my Natural gas and electricity (not water). Over the past few months I have seen a drastic increase in my bills (which I thought was having an extra member of the household move in). After... read full review »

Bewes May 6, 2009
Wow. I've never dealt with a "legitimate " company with such an attitude. I bought a Yardworks 20" mower (60-1767-6) from Canadian Tire in the fall of 07. Worked fine for a year. First use in the spring of 09 reulted in a dead battery. I called 1-866 523-5218 as instructed on the mower only to be put on hold with a company called "Sunrise" for 25 minutes. After this, an operator picked up the phone and immediately disconnected me. Tried again, sat on hold for 15 mins and SAME THING!. Tried a third time, sat on hold for... read full review »

I leased a new 2009 VW Passat CC through Yorkdale Volkswagen o/b 2031113 Ontario Limited (also known as York Volkswagen). The leasing company is VW Credit Canada Inc. I was overcharged $2, 928 by this dealership. In addition, the dealership also reneged on a $700 price reduction they offered me, bringing the overcharge to $3, 628. I visited the dealership on Saturday February 21, 2009. After having discussed the price of the vehicle with the Salesman, he went into the Sales Manager's office where I was not invited and the two of... read full review »

Google Treasure Chest Kit
O. Jackson May 5, 2009
Well I did a stupid thing by ordering this so called kit by Google and it is a scam I believe. Charging people by a certain time period and not giving information as to where to call to cancel in time. That way they can charge you before you are aware of the time gone by. It sucks big time. Why can't Google do something about it if this is not there's or is it. All I can say is I think everyone who has a complaint should get together with a big law suit. read full review »

Palliser Furniture
Kenneth May 4, 2009
Based on a showroom sofa, we ordered two leather sofas from Palliser. When they arrived they barely resembled the one in the showroom. All the leather seams (which are sewn in Mexico) of this supposedly Canadian made sofa were gathered, puckered, wrinkled so badly that the sofas looked cheap and hastily made. The showroom sofas in two different stores did not look like these at all. The retailer agreed that the sofas demonstrated poor workmanship. Palliser, however, refuses to invoke its so called warranty. Based on this experience beware of... read full review »

This post is long, but I would truly appreciate any feedback I can get. It’s been 8 days and more than a dozen phone calls and my issue has yet to be resolved. 1. Lost internet connection on Friday, April 24, 2009. Could not get the DSL light on modem to light up. Trouble shooted computer, connections, wires, modem, phone lines, filters, etc. Called Bell Tech Support (didn’t get name) and after a lengthy discussion on trouble shooting, etc, was told replacement modem would cost me $19! I told him I’ve had a modem issue... read full review »

Andrea Felzmann May 2, 2009
I had a representative from Valley Countertop quote me $80 a square foot for purchasing Blanco Maple Silestone. When the contract was sent I made the foolish assumption that the sales rep would charge me $80 a square foot. I've been an avid customer of Sears for 30 years and I'm recently very disappointed in an order I just made. My granddaughter needed a new bed so I decided to check merchandise in the Sears website. I found a lovely 'mates bed' and in the photo was this (see attached): 013112491 MATES BED It says: mattress, bedding & accessories not included. It appeared as though the headboard shelving unit was part of this bed. I would never order a mattress platform consisting of $10 worth of particle board... read full review »
