Today 24th Dec, 2008 most of the major Gas stations are closed due to non availability of gas. I am surprised to see that all of these gas stations went out of stock in one day when the gas price gone down. Is there any regultaion with the government to control such consumer cheating? I purchased a new boxspring and mattress set at The Brick Mattress Store on June 9, 2008. The mattress has been sagging in the middle for several weeks. I contacted the store and was told there was nothing that could be done. ("unless the sag is more than 1.5 inches"). Notified company in November I wanted to cancel my account. The account was not cancelled, and on Dec 15th my credit card was billed for January 1-31. Company refused to reverse the charge. While on a snowy trip to Whistler Dec 12/08, I had heard on the radio that a tire check was being done at Alice Lake, which is before Whistler.
