We always have to travel by auto rickshaws in Pune as we don't have our own conveyance due to the fact that we are outsiders. Auto Rickshaw drivers in Pune take advantage of this thing and charge us a lot. We sometimes argue with them to go as meter says but since they know that we don't have any other choice so they demand a fixed amount that is generally much higher than what comes up if we go by meter. In Pune Passport office, I have applied for my passport renewal by May 7th, 2007. I am in emergency to go to abroad. I have studied in Pune by staying in 2 places. So for the police verification, they did it in 2 police stations by 3 months. Then I went to 2 police stations. They completed their work by 2 months atleast. i had booked a flat in ittina akala, later on i was advised by my peer groups to not buy a ittina property as the construction is very poor. i had booked it by paying 10,000/-. On the form it says cancellation of booking will mean a deduction of 30% in the amount paid. I am yet to hear from them.
