I purchased via Paypal this software that is supposed to recover files from damaged, corrupted drives. The software just appeared to be scanning the damaged external hard disk and created a "directory tree" but after paying for the software I found that there were NO FILES in the folders. It was a complete waste of time and money. When I emailed their support service all I got was comments about using the "registration key" and downloading the "full version" The story has a happy ending in that I found an Open Source program that recovered the vast majority of my data. read full review »

I have BIG propblems with Verizon. My husband had internet service in PA when he was working there for several months and when he moved back to NJ he tried to cancel it. They said it would cost $79 for an early termination fee. His monthly fee was $36 at the time, which is already ridiculous for just internet service. I keep getting these phone calls from 916-616-2739; 916-226-4115; 702 area code and various other ones. They tell me that I owe a payday loan of 752.87 and I don't recall ever getting this loan. They've told me that if I'm not in court there will be a warrant for my arrest, but they wouldn't tell me what court to be in. They also said that if I go to court to make sure to take $5000 to pay to them. They keep calling my work and cell phone.
