I had a yahoo account for over 10 years. In 2007 I subscribed with AT&T DSL high speed internet. When I was installing DSL, I responded yes to merge my yahoo. Now I found many issues with the merge. You will be asked to produce inumerate amounts of paperwork that you dont have, to prove your claim if and when they contact you 5 months later ! I was online applying for a loan. When I checked my bank account online I had been charged $31.98, given a phone number and a ID number for customer service for an identy theft protection plan that I knew nothing about. This charge caused my checking account to be overdrawn and I was charged $32.00 for an overdraft fee. This is not anything that I have ever remotely considered purchasing. I just tried to buy from Video Direct Ft Lauderdale Florida. I have never seen such a lack of customer service in my life. I placed my order and sent my money (not done via credit card). I couldn't get a receipt. I couldn't get a written acknowledgment of my order. I asked for a copy of the order to be emailed and they weren't capable of that. Terrible experience with carrier air conditioner warranty services. Company is using third party services for maintenance (Aarkey Eng in Guragaon). Technician visited the place, identified the fault and identified that PCB is faulty and told us an estimated bill of Rs.900/-. When we told him AC is under warranty he said replacement will take 3-4 days due to company procedure. I joined in srsr on 14.1.2008 by remitting an amount of Rs.1800.00 for form filling work. They did suddenly respond to my every inquiry before I joined them. After I joined them they did not reply to me. I send a series of reminders to them. At last they sent 10 nos. of data to me for the work which amount to Rs.20.00 only. I received a RCA RD1076A MP3 Player.The warranty should be with you some where. Anyway it is one that steps on your wrist. We have downloaded the disk, e-mailed RCA/THOMPSON, tried to make phone calls and have heard nothing back. The problem is there is no directions that came with the unit and there are no directions on the disk. I feel that I have just been hit by a major scam, as I have read that others with similar types are having the same types of problems with there's.
