I went home (journey was from Mysore to Ernakulum) this weekend in Rajahamsa Executive bus. To my utter horror there was lot of bed bugs in the seat and I couldn’t sleep a bit from their severe attack’s. As I am allergic to bed bug bites I had to resort to buying antibiotics to cure the rashes and swelling. It’s really pathetic that we have to pay huge sums of money for happy journey and then go through such an experience. I’m sure that there would be many people who share my plight. I went to Kansasland (3167 N Rock Rd; Wichita, KS, 67226 (316)634-1444) oil change. Was told I need shocks, which I had already had priced elsewhere 4 days earlier so I had a round about amount it would cost. They put in the MOST expensive shocks. My bill was $550.00. The bill receipt didn't even say anything about warranty. I had to go back the next day for them to write on my bill the warranty for these shocks. They screw people. I placed an order with Reddix.com and somehow my debit card information ended up on the Primetime Savings Clubwebsite. I may have very well errored in using the Reddix website but when I attempted to correct the problem, I caught hell. The Customer Service Company, which they hire to deal with customers, gave me an incorrect phone number and website to may contact with Primetime Savings. Luckily, I am a longer term customer at my bank and was able to correct matters on this end. I have learned my lesson and will not make online purchases from unknown merchandisers online. I bought furniture for 2 bedroom home there and realized later that they made a mistake writing and selling me a totally different colour for my bedroom set. How little I knew, that was a beginning of nightmare! I was not aware that they basically borrow the pieces for delivery from customer orders if they do not have it in stock. The Sears Repair service is atrocious! We had a heater (purchased from Sears) failure in January that was diagnosed the same day as a broken fan motor by a local service company. Since the heater was still under parts warranty we contacted Sears who told us it would be aweek before they could come. Once there, they have to order the part and you have to wait until it comes in before you call to make an appt for the service rep to come out to install. Their website looks quite professional. I should have done more research. I was billed extra for a high end Optoma home theater projector. It arrived OK. However, the serial numbers had been removed from the box and the unit. It developed a problem and I was unable to send it to Optoma for repair.
