On 11/18/07, I ordered a Leap Pad for my niece for xmas. Discovered she already had one so begins my ordeal of trying to return this sucker. Apparently, you need an RMA# to return something to Leapfrog so I called to get one. Customer service told me she would escalate it and someone would contact me. This is long... Pancakes (my puppy) was brought in on Wednesday because it was discovered that she had worms. They gave her a shot of penicillin in her upper back, some de-worming pills to take home, and gave her some fluids as she was not eating or drinking much starting Monday. They are the biggest fricken scam! i received a quote from them for $750 for 6months all was good until 1 day after i renewed with them!!! They sent me a email through there site saying my rate was 1150 for 6months. I was paying about $140 a month for the 1st 6 months with a 2500 deductible. On Dec 7, 2007 we discontinued our service with WildBlue Communications. We were told that their would be no additional charges to our account. Shortly after we were charged $49.95 to our account. On Jan 16, 2008, WildBlue charged $214.62 to our account (debit card). In doing so, it caused a overdraft at our bank. In turn, our bank charged us fees in the amt of $50.00. I set the deal up with this Anthony Word. After I sent the money, the guy sent me a shipping statement for FedEx which looked legit. It was supposed to be delivered today. Nothing arrived. I phoned Fedex who said he went on line filled in the form but did not request the pick up. This man is a crook. He gave a false telephone number to both FedEx and to me as neither works. I joined VirginActive in NOv 07. Paid the monthly fee plus joining fee (£90) staff were so busy they didn't have time to give me an induction to the equipment. Within 3 days of using the gym I injured my knee severely. I informed the gym straight away and sent a letter that stated I would be unable to use the gym until further notice. I ordered furniture in the amount of $2645.00 on 12/18/07. My credit card was charged for the full amount. The furniture has never arrived . A book was ordered; sales person convinced me that I should order an additional book, which I did (my stupid mistake) -- weeks & weeks passed before delivery, although my charge account was charged immediately. That should have been my clue that you were not a reputable company. When books arrived, they were a bunch of jibberrish -- "information" contained in them is a bunch of garbage. My experience with NRI ICICI services Internet Banking has been a dreadful one. Our NRI account was debited through multiple transactions in four days, which should have raised enough alarm bells for any reputed financial institution. Once we brought this fraud debits to ICICI's attention, the impression we got was that it was our fault and they refused to take any responsibility. Moreover, they don't seem to be having any checks and controls in place. I've been trying for ONE YEAR to clear up FALSE BILLING from the Elephant Group/Broadband.com OR Comcast. NO ONE CAN TELL ME WHO IS BILLING ME and there is NO RECORD of me AS I AM NOT A CUSTOMER. Apple Computer is rotten! I purchased a custom configured $2,000 Apple Mac Book online back in November 2007. I am blown away right now after reading of the nightmares people have suffered at the hands of this GE Money Bank. In the last two weeks I too have had my little problems with this Bank. Every time myself or my husband go to Williams Chicken they are very very rude, and sometimes the chicken is old. But today 3/2/08, I called at 10:00pm to find out what time they closed, and a female answered, and said they close at 11:00pm but that they arec closed because of the weather, she said, "we are closed because everybody has to ge home," and hung-up on me, everytime they are rude there, and I do not appreciate their rudeness. What can consumers do about receiving defective items from ordering DVD's on line from Donkey DVD and TV Addicts, had their credit card debited and lack of response time received from companies when you email them on these issues?
