I recently returned an item with the receipt. I asked for store credit but they told me it had been over 90 days and I couldn't return it. It was not a seasonal item and they carry it all the time. Hello, I had baught the Tata Indicomm USB modem, but the internet speed is pathetic. Moreover the service is pathetic. I had complained n number of times but no satisfactory resolution. Moreover, my connection was disconnected, and I was asked to pay 1000+ rupees, though my bill was merely 350. After I paid my bill, I requested to connect my service, but still it is not connected. Bought a Philips 37" LCD TV from Best Buy on 9/28/07. Had to return the TV because it has a defective screen - a line of pixels were out - Best Buy took care of that because it was within their 30 day guarantee. On 11/24/2007 the audio went out on the TV. It will be sitting in the authorized Philips repair shops for weeks because Philips is notorious for not being prompt with part for their service centers - I have no recourse that I know of. After 18 months the door water and ice dispenser failed. We had a 3 year service warranty and after a week of listening to this unit clap and blink the service tech required another week to order parts. The refrigeration in the refrigerator section then failed and now we have a 1000 "ice box" to keep the food from spoiling. Now they say it will take 7 to 10 more days for the parts to be sent from the factory. We are irate and will never recommend this product.
