On 12/1/07 I received a bill from CreditOne Bank for a Visa credit card I applied for. I never received the card, but did receive a bill for $74.75 (enrollment fee). When I called the phone number on the statement, 877-825-3242, the message immediately went into the card activation mode. I pressed option 2, which was suppose to interrupt the activation, and put me through to a representative. Instead, I received a message stating they were "closed for the holiday". I ordered a camcorder advertised for $229.00. I completed my order. Two days later I received an E-mail to call a 1-800#. When I did I was told that the camcorder I ordered was no longer made. When I ordered it they said it was in stock. I told them to cancell my order immedietly and went back to their web site to look at other camcorders only to find out that the exact camcorder that they said was no longer made was for sale by them except that they had raised the price to $399.00. Don't buy anything at Best Buy on line. Their return policy is awful. You have one month to return a defective part and it takes up to two weeks to get an authorization number. I have applied for HSBC Credit Card for 2 times but till now I did not get any confirmation number or a call from the customer care. Everytime their executive comes and collects the docs (payslips, bank transactions so on..) which are more sensitive but there is no sign of confirmation from their end whether they accepted or rejected. We are receiving constant phone calls from various 800, 888, 866 numbers. If we are able to get anything, they are speaking in a foreign language that seems to be asian but they usually don't speak at all. When we try to call them back, I either get a busy signal or I am told that my "international call can not be completed".
