I recently went and got my daughter's christmas pitures done and wanted to purchase a photo cd and thought the price was $10.00 to $20.00. This has been the price since our daughter was a newborn. Almost 4 years ago. when looked on line it says the price is $9.95. Typical telemarketing scam where they make it seem as if you've won something but to qualify for your winnings you have to buy something. But the real scam comes when they get your credit card number anf then sign you up for more over priced subscriptions than you bought in first place. And that's for five years by the way. I've bought a philips 21 inch tv last year since from then i have a problem that is when i switch on the tv it starts normally but after 1 minute the sound suddenly stops,then if i leave the tv idle for about 1 minute or if i change the channel sound restarts with a full volume if i decrease the sound by 1 level then sound returns to normal position.the remedy i'm using is mute the sound then chamge the channel decrease the sound and then increase it. GE Money Bank d/b/a Care Credit Cards has quite a bate and switch going. They tell you all about deferred interest and then don't give it to you. I paid religiously on my account a dental balance. Now they tell me I was late (I wasn't and have documentation to prove it) but they charged me the interest anyway. I have called, written and called again. I recently got a letter from a collection agency on this account even though I paid them this month. They hung up on me once and then I got another rude individual who told me too bad. These guys solicited my business for collections. I turned over an account that totaled $1384.79. They wrote the client claiming I agreed to settle for $450.00. They collected the $450.00 and kept putting me off on sending me money stating a certain period of time would need to go by before they could send. Before I knew it they turned off their phones and I cannot reach them. One guy I had gotten on the phone stated something to the fact they were moving and had a new number. This company put an account of mine in collections and on my credit report for a 2001 Dodge that had been towed and stored for who knows how long. the reason I do not know how long was because I traded that car in on Oct 15 2005. But when I repeatedly called the company trying to explain myself I was put on hold and told that I was responsible for the car anyway and that i should just go ahead and pay the amount owed on the car. I have two sets of Citadel doors. I have been trying to contact the company for 6 weeks to purchase replacement parts. They put you on hold by phone for ever and do not respond to E-Mails. I bought a SUV from them for $23k. The car contained no owner's manual and was missing an obvious part of its interior.
