In July of 2006 I went to buy some clothes at Lane Bryant, they convinced me to to get a credit card to save 10% on my purchases. Which ended up being a savings of about $10. I planned to pay off the card once I received the bill so no worries. Bill came I went online to pay the bill and could not. I don't do checks so I can only pay online or in person. 1 1/2 years ago I purchased a matching GE Profile washer and dryer because in the last 40 years I've had two GE washers that worked really well. The Profiles are a disaster. The computers on both washer and dryer don't work. If you set the dryer on permanent press it dries for 3 minutes and cuts off. The clothes are sopping wet. I have been making monthly payments for a year on an auto loan through Chase Auto Finance. This past month (Sept.), I received a receipt from the company that they received a payment on 9/15 and next payment due is 10/15. For the past 5 days, I have rec'd hoards of harassing phone calls from collections stating that they never received a payment in Sept. and last payment received was in Aug! They are requesting copies of the checks received from banks, copy of the letters, etc. and in the meanwhile calling 7-9 times per day with both an automated recording and live agents from collections, treating me like a criminal! read full review »

My Thinkpad was bought in Hongkong on 11Dec05. It costs me HKD12,388 (about AUD2,000). They let an employee get away with keeping a customers social security number, drivers license number, name birth-date and credit card number, For herself. I bought a the above mentioned Home theatre with DVD Player from HI-FI Corporation, River Walk, Botswana for Pula 4650 (invoice no: 00079501) according to their advt. on 1st of October2007. I bought a refrigerator from Kmart/Sears(after they merged). I placed a phone order to purchase an ice maker because a sales associate in the store told me it would be faster, WRONG! I had applied for shifting my Airtel Broadband connection in Bangalore (080 41311505) on October 4, 2007 from Koramangala to Egipura. After escalating to higher authorities I was told on October 13, 2007 afternoon that the shifting is not possible as there is no spare capacity in the new location. Airtel spent 10 days to give me a negative reply and that also on a Saturday afternoon. We are in IT and need broadband connection urgently. I ordered the credit card online. After receiving it for a $300 credit limit., and after all the fees they want to charge, I had $75 available. So, I made a $100 payment. It went through bringing my available credit to $175. I tried to use the card 3 times, and all 3 times it was declined. Now how is that possible if they took my payment, so whats wrong? I have been trying to get my mobile number disconnected for the past month. I have even visited two airtel stores at mumbai (Chembur & Lower Parel). But they have been of no help. As for airtel website too doesnt properly function. There is a permanent error - "Server too busy".
