I attempted to return a laptop I had received as a gift with no receipt to upgrade to a better processor (approx $100 more); the box was factory sealed (never opened) and I had waybill from HP to Walmart on box. The house had been paid in full since March 1996. Litton Mortgage attached their name to title in 2003. They changed from INC to LLP in 2003. My father passed away in 2007 and willed his house to me (I'm also executor of his estate and power of attorney). I leased a credit card machine from Golden Eagle Leasing years ago. I actually can't remember how long ago, but it was in the 1990's. I booked these guys to ship a scooter from IL to AR with these guys at a contracted price of $310. I was then warned by somebody to check these guys out on transportreviews.com. I really wish I'd had the foresight to Google these JK Harris people BEFORE I wrote them a check for $4000.00 two years ago!! Horrible service!!! I spent half a day, waiting for the service tech. to come. The appointment was scheduled 2 weeks earlier to have my refrigerator serviced. They never showed up! HBSC is a totally disreputable institution. I have an HBSC Best Buy Credit card with 18 months no interest program. First they added credit protection without my authorization which cost more monthly than the interest on the outstanding balance. My minimum payment was $20 per month and I paid $25 per month on the same day every month. For the past six months, we have had a charge of $12.99 made to our Visa. Unfortunately, we have many charges on this card and check them daily; however we did not catch this charge. I was horrified to find I received a bill for $76 yesterday for $1 of tolls assessed to my car during the one day I was driving a Dollar rental car during my recent trip to Florida. I made every attempt to pay tolls in cash during my recent trip.
