Greystone advertises that it's call center is open 24/7, however when I called them tonight to have an elderly friend's services restored, I received no answer. I called their main number as well as their power outage number at least 10 times. The phone just rang for 6-10 minutes per call. I started calling them at 6:30 pm. We purchased trip delay insurance from travel guard prior to our trip to Rome. We arrived at the airport on 12/24 and due to very very bad weather in Amsterdamn, we we not allowed to travel. We had to spend the night in Seattle and incur hotel bills, cabs, and phone expenses. We also had a pre-paid room in Rome that was non refundable. We sumbitted a claim for reasonable expenses which total $350 dollars. After 8 weeks of back and forth, them coming up with many many poor excuses, the sent me a check fo $76. I bought 7 tickets for the play Wicked in New York. I paid $122 for a ticket and only when I received the tickets from FedEx that they turned out to be worth $66 a ticket. That's almost 100% profit! This company will promise you that they have a buyer for your timeshare and convince you to send them money prior to closing. Then they never close since they really don't have a real buyer. They will likely change their phone number. They don't return calls or emails once they have your money. You can even check their address out - they don't even have an office at that address - just shares a mailing address their. They are not registered as a business entity in Hawaii. From the first contact, I was told my interest rate would be 4.0%. Representitive (Brian Niklas) canceled the closing twice. The first was because they were missing some paperwork. As stated by others, they require that you register and provide credit card information. As you move around the site, you suddenly get "bids" in your account with no authorization. You should immediately protest this since if you use one bid, the $150 charge goes through. In my case, it first showed 0 bids, then 500, then 0 and then 500. I made the mistake of making a few bids because it looks like a bargain, but they keep extending the auction. My wife's 2006 Santa Fe has had brake problems which were supposed to have been fixed by Smart Hyuandia. When I went to pick it up for her, the brakes were still "mushy" and the brake pedal would go to the floor if you continued to apply pressure to the pedal. I asked the "service advisor", Danny, about that and he told me that the brake pedal going to the floor was "normal" if you continue to apply pressure.
