I went to this company to replace my driver seat of my car, as its fabric is worn out. The Union Auto Parts claims on their advertising and business cards that they sell “guaranteed auto parts.” The salesperson said that the ordered seat comes from a car that has an accident and the seat is in a very good condition, guaranteed. Please read this before dealing with WORLD MOTORS. I recently purchased a car from World Motors in Scottsdale. It was sold with a full warranty as covered by the manufacturer. Within three weeks of purchasing the car, the engine was knocking and the check engine light came on. I figured it was no big deal because if anything went wrong, it would be covered under warranty. Midwest sold me a 1993 Toyota Corolla for $3000 that they stated in their ad as low mileage and dependable. It ran for 177 dependable miles and burned up the wiring harness and melted the fuse box on the left hand side of the engine compartment. Surprise, surprise on triple -checking it turns out that they were planning to levy an additional GBP 35 because it is a one-way rental. While sigining up for AAA Auto insurance, I was not told of any cancellation policy and penalties. Later due to an 30% increase in premium owing to my residential move within 8 miles, I canceled the policy. The refund of premium did not include a statement, but only a refund cheque. On demanding an explanative statement, I was told it is not in their code of conduct to issue an explanation. We were sold a 2005 Dodge Durango and was told by the salesmen that it was 4 wheel drive and it has passed a 144 point inspection test that all there cars under go before they can sell them. It however is 2 wheel drive and the tires are shot with no spare tire under the truck. We were tricked into paying for something we did not get and they sold us an unsafe truck with the bad tires with no spare. Comparable to the other complaints, Freefuelcenter.com sent the first three gift cards, then said my receipts were wrong. As an accounting auditor, they were submitted correctly. In March, 2009 was the first indication that they were up to something. Have not received anything since February submittals. They probably scammed each gas company for the gift cards, then sold them on the side to others, and then give the consumer some excuse for not processing. Send them to jail for their actions. This item was shown on the car in all of the pictures, but was 'missing' when I went to pick up the car. Thinking that they were good on their word... I took the car and drove off their lot. On 18th July'09, the Karachites experience 1st monsoon rain. Because of the poor city infrastructure, the water standing in the road is the norm. My Honda Civic (under warranty - done only 35k km) was parked and surprisingly there was a water inside the car. My car is serviced only at official Honda Service Centres. Honda Pakistan is not taking any responsibility of the fault in there car. I drove Toyota Corrolla and Suzuki Kyhber earlier and never faced any bad experience during heavy rains.
