consumer direct warranty services
latishia kemp June 19, 2009
They called me about 3 yrs ago and said they represented extended warranty coverage for our car. That our original coverage had just run out . They said they covered certain major parts of my engine and if there would be any problems, they would pay for services, to have it fixed. I've made payments every month and have never missed not one of them. I took my car in to be fixed due to some knocking coming from my engine, now they tell me, their not reliable to cover payments to have it fixed because it was due to ware and tear from... read full review »

Sportster 883 Low Rider
Jodine Clare-Talbot June 19, 2009
I purchased a new 883 Low Rider in February 2006. I subsequently had 3 services done by Clearwater Harley Davidson in Johannesburg, South Africa. I have discovered that during this time my battery was swopped with an older battery. The battery is dated July 2002 and has the marking 'Vic' scratched onto the face of the battery. I doubt this would have been delivered by Harley Davidson Europe to South Africa with an old battery, so I beleive that while my bike has been serviced on these occasions that the battery must have been swopped with an older one. Please let me know what can be done about this. read full review »

Future Ford Roseville
dsanchez June 18, 2009
I purchased a vehicle on 6/1/2009. We had $2000 down as well as a trade in that we owed $11k on. Although we were upside down on our vehicle, we were told that with the money down and rebates we would be able to purchase a 2009 Ford Fusion. On June 11, Dennis Gingrich called us and asked that we come down to the dealership as they had some additional paperwork we needed to sign. Nothing more was said. My husband and I couldn't make it down at that time so we scheduled the appointment for Friday 6/12/09. My husband made it to the... read full review »

I was interested in purchasing a pre-owned vehicle and contacted Hillside Honda. I was told by Christian that there were several vehicles at the dealership within my price range and told to meet with Frank Caputo that evening. When I arrived, Frank told me there was one car available but that it wasn't at the dealership yet. Told me to call back the next day. When I did, he said it was listed but still didn't have a price. He said he would get back to me with the info. I've left several messages and texted him in the last week... read full review »

$50 Rebate never received I submitted all the required documents, I keep copies in case something like this happened. When I didn't receive my rebate I posted on Bestop's website. It took over 30 days for a response from a Promotions mailing center not Bestop! stating the offer had expired and that they issued a notification. No notification was ever received and all the required forms were submitted. Their rebates are a scam. read full review »

Toyota Tundra 2005

2005 Toyota Tundra started leaking power steering fluid right around 36, 000 miles. By the time it became noticeable and needed to be topped off, vehicle was past the 36, 000 mile warranty. Marina del Rey Toyota diagnosed problem as a defective high pressure hose. They quoted part at over $500 and labor at ~$600 and offered a 10% "discount". Toyota "recommeded" part price is alreay high at $465 but they charge even more. Chiltons labor hours for the job a 1.3 hours. I recently finished a 4 year lease with Infiniti for a M35 and made arrangements to turn the car back in. After reading the lease agreement I found that the tires did not meet the standards so I spent $600 on new tires. We also had the car detailed detailed. Infiniti has a 3rd party inspector that reviews the cars. Upon inspection he said that the wheels were scratched and wrote up a report for approximately $600. I told him that I did not agree and that the black from the new tires and detailing were showing on the edge of the wheels. I then... read full review »

This place is a nightmare. The owner Micheal is a smooth talker. He will draw you in and pick your pocket for everything you have. The mechanic John is incompetent and does not posses the knowledge to work on a bicycle yet alone a Jeep. Johns work is substandard and his attitude appalling. We purchased our Mazda CX9 from Tustin Mazda and I should say it's been the biggest mistake of our lives ever on purchasing a new car from this dealership. From the beginning we had told the dealership that we wanted a tow package on the car along with roof rack and an entertainment system. Owner Todd Berkowitz and salesman Matt Knezevic conspired to cheat me (and presumably many others) out of an "owner loyalty rebate" advertised by the dealer. This fraudulent practice could not be any more blatant: the dealer prominently advertised a $500 rebate on the purchase of a new Subaru Outback Sport for existing owners. At purchase Knezevic took the information, and repeatedly assured me that everything was "all set". After months of waiting, and having Berkowitz tell me that the check will arrive soon (including "it... read full review »

I took my car in to have the transmission looked at, and also for them to fix my air conditioner since it was only blowing hot. I asked them if I could have a loaner car, but they refused to give me one and even denied the fact that they ever loan out cars. I know for a fact that they do provide loaner cars, but I guess that just don't trust a 20 year-old who needs a car to get to class and work. As a result of this they will NEVER receive another dime from me. To make matters worse, they even called me to suggest replacing engine belts at a very high cost and brake pads as well on top of the $3500 for a new transmission and AC condenser. read full review »
