Ford Focus
Vivette Hall April 7, 2009
Hi, my name is Vivette Hall. We have a 2003 Ford Focus that has been nothing but trouble since we purchased it a few years ago. We have owned many automobiles during our lifetime but have never had brake problems so constantly. We have brakes put on every year. We need brakes again, less than a year since we had the last repair. Will you authorize one of your Rockford dealers to repair this car at your expense? Please respond immediately. I need my transportation but can't afford the repair again. Mechanics often tell us that Ford Focus are known for having defective brakes. Please help me. Thanks Vivette Hall read full review »

Randall Noe Dealership - Terrill, TX
Nathan Anderson April 7, 2009
Randall Noe used a $500 "Gas Voucher" to close a deal for a vehicle I bought. They could only supply me one set of keys for the car and I knew it would cost me about that much to get a second set. The Free Gas Redemption company in Florida required $100 purchase of gas each month in order to get a $25 gas card each month. It would take 20 months and $2000 in gas to get my free $500 in gas. I faithfully mailed in recepts for 5 months and got nothing back except my last two mailings indicating they were no longer deliverable. I got ripped off by Free Gas Redemption and Randall Noe. Shame on both of them! read full review »

Mile One Heritage Mazda
Hoping4Better April 7, 2009
When the shine wore off my tires, I noticed all of them appeared to be dry rotted based on the cracks on the rim beneath the tread. I opted to buy the car because it was certified pre-owned (CPO), as stated on the window sticker. If I had to buy used, I wanted the security of a pre-owned vehicle. When I contacted Mazda USA, the Customer Assistance staff informed me there was no record indicating the vehicle was CPO. I was advised to contact the dealer to straighten it out. The dealer was the CPO designate not Mazda. I spoke a... read full review »

This is her account of what happened. “It was about 4:45 during rush hour on a Friday evening, I was driving on the highway in the center lane, traffic was very thick and I needed to get into the right lane because my exit was about a mile up. I put on my turn signal to get over but the car in the right lane did not slow down so I could not easily get over so I... read full review »

Best Transmissions
Kenny April 7, 2009
Transmission started at $1397 for my Jeep Liberty and ended up $2592. The transmission co, an AAMCO did a fine job on the work, and told me if I had come in off the street the trans. would have been around $1800 to $2000 with a 12 month/12, 000 mile warranty. Now for the part that I am REALLY upset about: The warranty. Went from a misleading Lifetime/Unlimited mileage over the phone, to a Lifetime/Unlimited mileage (whichever comes first) Limited Pro-Rated warranty. They make the transmission shop cover the first 6 months/6000 mile... read full review »

I bought a truck from Curtis Auto sales, to start off i traded in a mint condition 94 chevy 2500 pickup with ali the bells and whistles, power everything. It was a nice truck that i could have probably sold for 3, 000. The bad thing was that it was when gas prices were 4.00 a gallon and the truck only gets 10 mpg. So i needed a truck with a smaller engine. My credit is not so good so i went there.. They Gave me 1, 000 trade in value and pretty much ripped me off because i had no money for a down payment. We found out from our attorney that the contract was in fact for a house not a car and if we had paid all of th payments that the owner could come and reclaim the car and we would have no recourse. We also found out through the DMV that the dealership was suppose to give us temp tags and paperwork to register the car in our name which they did not and the owner of the dealership had it registered in his name. Nonetheless I was not able to puchase a vehicle due to the fact that I was asked to put down money and not able to choose the vehicle of my choice.
