I was a patient at Brookdale University Hospital in Brooklyn, NY on 10-30-06. I was in the coronary care unit. I received practically no care, coronary or otherwise. My roomate was deranged, and yelled continuously. I was across from the nurses lounge, more properly the bar and lounge. The noise, laughter, and chatter was unbelievable. I pushed the call button, and pulled out all my monitor leads, without any response.Some nurses supervisor came by the next day and took notes, but never furnished me a promised copy. I was told (in person) that every single Unit aquired at Westwood College of Technology was transferable to the UC:CSU college system in California. That was my selling point so I enrolled. I was told my recruiter that I needed schooling to take the PTCB and that is a lie #1 that Remington told me. I could have went and signed up for the certification exam without having any schooling. Lie #2 is that the administration and faculty cares. Once you sign on that line and are commited to that $13, 000 tuition they don't care what complaint or problem you have. I enrolled at National American University in a 4 year Bachelor Degree program as a Paralegal. My first semester I had no problems at all and enjoyed the classes and teachers. Since then I have had nothing but problems concerning the financial aid department and with trying to disput one of my grades.

I started with Everst University in 2005 to earn my AA. I was told after I earned my AA I could transfer all of my credit to earn my BA. I was suposed to graduate April 11, 2009 with my AA and in November of 2008 the school had stopped letting me into my classes for no reason. It took me three months to get someone to return my calls or emails. This is a horrible school. the course costs $15.000 and if for some reason you miss more then 30 hours weather it be, you are sick or like me my mother died they will withdraw you from the course and they keep your tuition all of the $15000 this School claims to be one of the best schools in Vancouver but they do not have the best interests of the students in mind. the policy's at this school are in place to keep more and more students rotating in and out, They are not interested in YOU completing this course, they have a completion rate of only 35% per year . read full review »

My son and daughter have been enrolled at Saint Philips the Apostle for the past 5 years. I am disgusted with the principal and as a matter of fact I feel the school is not at its potential for educating. The teachers are very nice people but I cannot stand the principal. When your child is physically unable to play an instrument for several months due to an unexpected surgery to repair severed nerves and tendons in his hand, they require that you pay for lessons for those months anyway. My daughter is a student at St Philip the Apostle in Clifton, NJ . I CANT STAND THE PRINCIPAL. She is not fit for the job, i wish they would FIRE HER ALREADY! In the beginning everything seemed on the up and up. My mother had received her Masters degree via an online program at University of Phoenix and I was interested in doing this for my bachelors since my work schedule was so difficult to fit into school. We looked for an accredited school with an online program that was a little more affordable than UOP and discovered Ashford. I am a former student. This program is nothing but a waste of money. The schools they are afilliated with are good schools, but they can be accessed via direct admission.
What this program has done is become the middle man, and has forced the school abroad to only accept US students from their program.
They had affiliations in Hungary, but they were not interested in just making this company money and abide by their rules; which were simply make sure the students pay their HMI fee's.

Dependant daughter needed another loan to attend college in PA and asked me to apply for the Parent Plus Loan it sounded like a great ideal at the time, but turned into the worst nightmare I ever had and I know my daughter has other outstanding loans with these people and that scares me! I recently completed an online high school diploma course from Stratford Career Institute.I tried to enroll for school or this fall and the school said that the diploma was not accredited and could not be accepted. Stratford claims that it is a career diploma only and there web site states its a "HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA". I completed a medical transcription course and was advised by the school personel to pay the fee and take the CMT (Certified Medical Transcription) exam. I passed the exam and received my CMT Credential a few weeks later via USPS. Shortly after sending out numerous resumes I was informed by potential employers that the credential I had received through The National Healthcareer Association was false; it is not recognized in the state of Wisconsin nor is it recognized in the healthcare industry.

Mark Z. has been repeatedly, making sexual remarks to female workers, bragging about his swinging marriage, and went to far when he started making racial remarks, also telling, one female, she cant use the computer because she is Jewish. I made the mistake of paying one month ahead for my education loans. I have requested a printout of my payments that I Ihave made in the past year. I was promised three weeks ago that they would do so. I now have received a notice that I am 21 days late on my last months payment. when I called again, they told me this is against the CEO's policy and I cannot obtain a printout. So doctor you come here to work. You can not practice clinical medicine, with patients, unless you pass the mother of all tests USMLE put out by the ECFMG. Its intent is to keep you from practice. They do not have a web site and when I call they will only take orders and have no one to resolve the matter.
