My wife gave me money to buy myself a Christmas gift. I bought a Remington Titanium electric razor expecting to get the nice, smooth shave the actor on the TV advertisements gets. But instead of getting a nice, smooth shave, mine painfully yanked every hair out by the roots. I couldn't get my refund because I didn't save the original packaging and receipt. I bought another one and it yanked my hair out too. I appealed to Remington and they said there was nothing they could do. I am a frequent PC Richards buyer and bought a very expensive Miele dishwasher. The first one was the wrong dishwasher, not what I ordered, annoying, but they fixed the problem. It is a special machine to deal with hard water build up. It requires special salt to run the machine and they don't carry it in the stores although the salt is a Meile product. ONSALECELL ripped me off. Don't let them rip you off! I bought a cell phone which turned out to be defective. I returned the phone for a refund. I followed ONSALECELL return policy to the letter. ONSALECELL has refused to give a refund. Now they have their defective product and almost $300 of my dollars-and I'm out. These people are slugs. They get you to purchase a toner cartridge for a low price. Then a few months later they call and tell you that it's time for you to accept the "balance" of your order -- which for me was 2 more toner cartridges. They said that that's how I got the low price by committing to a total of 3 cartridges. I will never buy a Gateway product again. Worst of all, my wife told me not to buy one based on reviews she had read just like the one I am writing now. I bought a Gateway FX6800 at Best Buy. I purchased an LG Electonics room air conditioner from Home Depot and after 59 days of being installed it went up in flames. The fire department's official investigation stated clearly that it was a mal-function in the ac unit. LG sent someone down to see the damage and deceided it was not their liability ! Having bought Diskeeper Undelete last year, upon upgrading to Windows 7, I found it would not install. Diskeeper's web site said that a Windows 7 compatible version would be available "mid December". This company sells rather expensive small appliances, made in England. I have had one of their toasters for about three years, which now has a burned-out heating element. When I contacted them, they first informed me that they were only responsible for models sold in the USA (I now live in Mexico).
