I ordered 8 "Draft Guard Deluxe's" from the website on Dec 2, 2008. I was immediately charged, and on Dec 25, 2008 I got an email from them appologizing for the delay and offering a refund, or continued order with free gift. The order would then get to me with 10-15 days. I accepted the continued order, but have not received the items as of today (Feb 17, 2009). I recently requested a refund via the Dec 25 email, I have emailed customer service, and I have called the customer service line (with only an answering machine with no room to leave a message) and no reply, or refund. read full review »

Watch for this company WWW.ShoppersDiscount.com. Why with so many complaints is this still going on? This company is scamming people, I paid $10.00 a month for 14 months before I noticed. I never use this card, I was just making monthly payments to pay it off. Now it is paid off and I got a statment with a $10.00 charge. I received a Sealy Waterbrook mattress from Costco a month ago. It is still emitting an overpowering stench of chemicals, and I'm waking up with breathing difficulties and stinging eyes. The odor is so strong that you can smell it from the hall leading up to the bedroom. I contacted Costco, and they said that they will replace it with the identical mattress, which will likely outgas in the same way. I called to have this guy take a look at my central heat unit. I already knew what it needed, and he told me I needed an entire new unit, when in reality I only needed a new blower motor. I told him I was going to order my own motor and wanted him to put it in. He took the old motor and a whole bunch of other parts that were still good off my unit, then I called him and asked him why he took the parts to my unit when I was ordering my own and asked him to return them. This company is definitely a scam. I ordered at th eend of December, my card was charged and when I called they said the fan should arrive in a week. Stillno fan and now when you call you get recordings that gice excuses for why no one is available. They clearly are taking new orders to pay for merchandise, refunds etc, but just not your order. I do not recommend buying this top-loading washing machine. Our machine was purchased in 2006. Coins slip into the bottom of the drum and break the water pump. The first time it happened (2008), the repairman found almost $3 in coins - some had entered the pump and cracked it. Of course, this was the day after we had put down a new rug. Even though I am vigilant about checking pockets, the problem occurred again and this time the pump got clogged with three pennies. Needless to say, this is a clear design flaw and should be addressed by the manufacturer. In the meantime, buyer beware! read full review »

Incident = Nov 1997 I purchased new USG joint compound from Home Depot, San Carlos, CA and it was used to texture my walls and ceiling throughout the entire house. During this process I and my contractor were exposed thoroughly to dust from sanding the texturing material. A mandatory asbestos survey (inspection) was done 9/08 prior to obtaining a demolition permit for the home, and up to 2% chrysotile asbestos was found in the texturing only throughout the entire house (all the wallboard was found to be negative). I went to the local Metro Mattress store to inquire about there No Credit Check Financing program. I selected a mattress combination and asked how much the financing would cost. It was to the point that the 2nd piece delivered looked like they gave a seven year old a touch up pen to fix the scratches. I also spent $3, 400. for a Kingsdown Mattress at the suggestion of my chiropractor. What a disappointment. It starteed to break down and you could hear the springs pop after a year, I fought with them until they sent me a new mattress set and it seems to be fine now. Maybe it was a defective one. On 2/11/2009 Driver Joe Limone, Truck #3789 delivered LP gas to my home in Franklin, NJ at 3:22 p.m. and damaged my driveway. He dug a hole with the truck approximately 100 sq. ft. and 6"-12" deep right in the middle of the driveway. The rest of the driveway was badly crushed by his driving. I ordered a stainless sink from them. They have failed to deliver the sink and refused to issue a refund. The "service department" sent me to sales. Sales said they would call the manufacturer and send me an e-mail. They sent a form interim complaint e-mail and the link back to the company's site says the complaint and or customer do not exist. They will not return my calls or e-mail. They say they have no obligation to deliver the product that is up to the manufacturer and they will not issue a refund. Our roof was installed only 3 years by Jenkins Roofing yet we've experienced recurring leaks. The warranty is for 10 years but you have to chase down these people to honor their warranties. They never keep their appointments -- they will tell you they will be there one day and will just not show up, no call to say "sorry but i can't make it today." Purchased 8 replacement windows less than 6 years ago. Over the last 3 years at least one of the windows has suffered a broken seal and mold is growing in between the dual panes of glass. Great Lakes does send out replacement glass but I'm responsible for the cost of getting the new glass installed in the vinyl frame. They don't send a complete, ready to install pane. 3 of 8 windows (so far) is a horrible failure rate and I just hope to keep other prospective window buyers from purchasing the same low quality product I'm now stuck with. read full review »

Purchased a True Form mattress which was not anything like what I lied down on in the store. I believe that what I tried in the store was a Temperpedic mattress. The mattress I got was like a brick. No one would ever have knowingly bought this. This was the second mattress I bought from them. I returned the first, which cost me $250 to return.
