I placed an order for my bed on July 6th. It arrived damaged and I had to place a replacement order. It finally arrived on Friday, August1st. My husband opened the boxes to assemble the bed. It is missing the foot board rail. I have called and left an email message on Saturday. It is now Monday at 12:00 pm and I have not received a call from the company. I bought a Coaster #5809 Futon Frame from Furniture To Go aka The Bedroom Show. I was told upon purchase that it was under warranty for a year through the store and thereafter through the manufacturer. On June 24th the futon collapsed. I don't understand how there is no other public utility competitor with Washington Gas - isn't this a monopoly? Is this legal? In June of 08 I purchased 3 beds form the brick and promised to receive it by July 8 until today I am waiting at list I was in Brampton store to ask them 3 times allay what I heir was false promises. I recently purchased a coffee maker (Mr. Coffee). First of all I like that this is the first coffee maker that keeps the coffee HOT! However, there is a design flaw in the carafe portion. The pour spout is curved downward, which makes it impossible to either fill the tank or pour a cup of coffee without spills. We had gutters, vinyl siding and windows installed by Empire today, well a contractor of Empire Today. We chose them as they promise quality and fast completion. The siding we ordered was on back order for two weeks; we only found that out after WE called a week later since no one called us. The windows are not airtight as you can feel air coming in with the windows closed. Well altogether I have spent thousands of dollars at this furniture store. Everytime I have purchased furniture at this location I have been promised a certain delivery time and they can never meet it. I am not talking a reasonable delay I am talking, 5 weeks the first time, 2 1/2 weeks the second time, and of course the third time is not the charm it will be another 2 weeks past the delivery date promised. After making $115.00 worth of purchases at K-Mart. We returned home, a 35 mile trip one way, we found that one of the Roman Blinds we had purchased there did not contain hardware and had broken pull string. I had to call for a locksmith because I was worried that my last key for my car was going to break. I called them, they told me that it would be about $155.00 for the first key. They came out, then I was told that there is an additional fee of $55.00 just for them to come, and if I wanted a second key it would cost $29.00. Sears dehumidifier
Last August I bought a Sears Kenmore that worked for less than 2 weeks. I wasn't worried, I had purchased a 3 year warranty. Beside this was Sears they would stand by their product. Then followed 8 appointments in which Sears did everything to not replace the unit. They replaced it's condesors and piping, it 's electrical switching. The Sears technicians even put in their reports that the unit was not repairable. I estimate they spent much much more than the unit was worth ($230).

I spend 425.00 on willow hybrid trees. When they arrived they were just twigs, but I thought okay, there is a 90 day guarantee so I will just send them back if they don't grow as fast as the company claims.
Almost 90 days later, the twigs have no leaves. I contact the company and they tell me to perform the scratch test to see if they are dead. They are not dead, but still no buds. The company refuses to replace they trees that I assume are dying because they claim they are not dead. The 90 days will be up and I will not receive replacements nor will they refund my money.

Just over a year ago we purchased the Andria sofa package from Argos direct. When they arrived everything seemed fine until 5 months down the line the arm collapsed leaving jagged wood protruding from the underside of the sofa, (not good when you have a small baby crawling around). Opened a tarp to see if it was as per discription of what I ordered. Also to see color ( it is described as tan but it is'nt quite what I would call tan.) Well the paper work inside the box spells out the return policy right on the invoice. BUT there is a catch. On the outside of the shipping box there is a different statement re: returns. Approximately 4 weeks ago I purchased 2 lazy boy recliners from Conn's in the White Settlement area of Fort Worth, TX 76108.
The chairs were delivered at the promised time. That was the end of "customer service". One of the chairs was broken (wood frame under the chair is split). I thought Maytag stood for quality...NO MORE! Do not waste your money as I have. I bought 3 appliances in 2002...a Neptune washer dryer set for over $1800 and a dishwasher for over $500. The Neptune washer replaced a 30 year old washer that had earned it's right to die!! We received The Helman Group Model CFF-930 Chocolate Fondue Fountain as a 2007 Christmas present. First tried to use it July 26, 2008. Motor turned too slowly to adequately lift the liquid, then quit entirely.

Last month, when we had a fault code come up on our dishwasher, my wife called the Clark Appliance company, from which the previous owner purchased our washer. Since there didn't seem to be anything functionally wrong with the washer, she asked if there was a way for us to clear the code, but we were told that a service call would need to be made to correct it.
