In the 2 years we've had our Hoover Wind Tunnel Vacuum, it broke 4 times. 3 times it has been the belt and one time, the self propulsion function stopped working. If you're thinking of buying this thing, don't. It is absolute junk. Hoover offered to send me a $67.00 vaccum as a replacement if I sent them my Wind Tunnel since it was off warranty. It would cost almost that much to ship the thing to them. What a joke. No more Hoover vacuums for me. The last Hoover I had lasted 9 years. Eastern Refinishing refinished my tub area in April. In doing so, they failed to remove the shower fixtures - meaning that the area behind the handles were not refinished. In July, I replaced the fixture and noticed the problem. When I called Eastern Refinishing, and suggested that they send a technician to correct the issue, the contact became indignant and hung up the phone. We have had a lot of negative experiences with Pulte's home construction. It seems they have undersized the ducts on our home and not provided appropriate dampers to adjust the airflow appropriately (it would cost about $8000 to repair that, but we have chosen not to do that). The air conditioner failed after only 6 years to the tune of about $6300. The main sink faucet valve broke as well. On April 12, 2008 at approximately 9:00 am, a RTG delivery driver parked a fully loaded 15-20 Ton truck on my concrete driveway to unload furniture. I bought a new office suite from the Mathis Brothers Store in Indio, on June 9th, 2008. They had 5 of the 7 pieces in stock, and promised the two remaining pieces by the end of the month. Cal Spoon was hired by the Searcy family in Odessa Texas in October of 2007 to build a new 2 story home. Instead he built a metal shell with no footing under the building. To give you an idea on how bad it is, the average footing for this type of structure, according to a structural engineer that checked the damage, suggested 2 feet at the main beams and 16 inches else ware. We bought a queen size Simmons mattress in 2005. The sales person said the mattress has a 10 year warranty. I asked what was covered? He said well if the mattress fails the company will honor it. I said, "the most important thing to me was that I don't want to pay $1300 for a mattress and I am still rolling into my husband when he lays down". I went to get a mortgage @ my bank. They said I had something in collections~~It turned out to be a Leon's Account--I have NEVER purchased ANYTHING FROM THEM!!! Just used Scotts Turfbuilder with *** control last week on our lawn - which at the time was already pretty nice and green. We followed the instructions on the bag EXACTLY. Our lawn is now completely brown and burnt!! Really really mad. Wish we'd known about/read all the negative comments about this product on Scott's website before I had bought and tried it. Don't know if, or how I can fix my lawn now it is completely burnt :( Terrible product. I placed an order on their website at the end of May. I was charged a delivery of $65.00. Sears made a $1.00 run on my card to make sure it was valid then didn't hear from them. The installer made a sharp turn as he backed out of the driveway and collided with my parked BMW 650 Ci that was on the street in front of my home at least 5 feet away from the driveway. I was out of town on the day this occured. Their office called me to collect the installation balance due via credit card without mentioning the accident. Ordered furniture through Black's Furniture on January 29th, 2008. Furniture has been delivered 3 times, and yet it is unusable: 1. First delivery - Headboard and another piece damaged 2. Second delivery - Headboard still damaged 3. Hey, I called up at 1 of the number given on flier for plumbing services, to get the Bidet filling (Fitting only) done as i already purchased the bidet, also during my call I asked for the charges but the person on phone said that they will tell the charges at the time when they will come to install the bidet, and if we not get the services done we have to pay $10 for transportation. Democo contracted to demolish a house. Democo was paid an advance of $6279 prior to start of work. The balance of $14, 718 was paid to them on completion by a second personal check on 08/25/07. Democo called and indicated that they wanted immediate payment. A Bank cashiers check for $14, 818 was paid to them on 08/07. Democo was supposed to destroy the personal check. Okay, where to begin? I've read so many complaints about Frigidaire appliances that I'm shocked! Right now, I'm preparing some paper work to sue Frigidaire in small-claims court over the vents on my 4000 Series AquaSurge Dishwasher. We stayed at the Econo Lodge located in Milledgeville, Ga this past weekend and the room was awful! The peep hole on the door was nothing but a hole in the door with GUM stuck in it, I always check the fire alarms this one did not work, the drain in the bath room took hours to drain so that the next person could take a shower, the microwave did not work, well it came on but would not HEAT up, the carpet was trashy, I did not put my bare feet on the floor the whole time. I contracted for a kitchen remodeling job with Sears Home Improvement, 1024 Florida Central Parkway, Longwood FL 32750 and had cracked and defective cabinets installed. My wife discovered the cracks when she was cleaning them and the putty came out of the cracks of two cabinets. I called and complained to the salesman, but an obvious deception has been perpetrated here by concealing defects with putty. I have a 4 year old GE Monogram 42" built in side by side fridge. It has had numerous issues with maintaining cool temp in the fridge and freezer and the unit is serviced 2x a year for this issue (along w/ moisture problems, ice maker issues, etc.). Brian was contracted to strip and stain our outdoor deck. He told us it would take a week to complete. He also asked for half of the money up front for expenses, which $500 was given to him by check. Brian was contacted numerous times, and worked a total of 10 hours in 3 weeks. He then never returned any of our phone calls, or ever showed up to work again after that. We were lied to and felt cheated. Brian has left us with a half-finished mess and the summer is half over. We ordered shutters on 6th March and were advised they would be fitted within 8 weeks. We are now in the fifth month, despite a complaint letter, at least 10 telephone calls we are still waiting for the shutters to be delivered to an installer, before we can even arrange an installation date. I can't really say what kind of work this company does because after getting the runaround for 2 weeks from them, Mr. Walter himself told me that his company wasn't going to pay $4.00/gallon for gas to come out and do my small repair job on my roof. Then Mr. Walter proceeded to tell me that he would come out the next day if I would pay him $600.00 to do my roof repairs that according to their advertisement should only cost $99.00. I have new carpet that was professionally cleaned by certified cleaner that cosed $400 each time. The technician said that my carpets are under warranty and the stains should have come out and to contact shaw. I did this with numerous run around as it had to be submitted by my installer. My pool has been done for less than one year. The wet deck was poor plastering from day one. They have partially drained my pool 2 x and fully drained it 2 X . They have been pointing fingers for the past year, looking for someone to blame. They now say for me to go after my pool cleaners because the problems are from poor chemicals. I was promised a credit by company personnel, after I called and was told by them that their records showed I did not receive service during the month of March. However, the company wouldn't credit my account no matter how many ways I contacted them, including by certified mail. I purchased this yardworks tractor in June of 2004, with the 4 year extended warranty. At the time I was told that this was one of the best riding lawnmowers available at canadian tire.
