Greg Bonner and James Landers run scam companies! We paid Building EMT for a roof replacement and these two men ran off with our money. My husband is restricted to a wheel chair and we decided to spend the remaining of our savings to repair our roof that was leaking. Thanks to James Landers who lives in Saint Petersburg, Florida and Greg Bonner who lives in Houston, Texas our savings is depleted and our roof is leaking so bad we still have a tarp on it. We got scammed over $5, 000 and our daughter got scammed by the same two men for over $3, 000. It's a shame that nobody does anything to stop people from taking deposits and not performing work. read full review »

Do not ever employ this company to do any construction work for you. You will lose your money. The owner Leon Hill stole $4500.00 from me. I took him to small claims court and won a judgement of $3000.00 and have not been able to collect. I filed a garnishment with his bank and he pulled his money out before it could take affect. On Wed. evening past, I purchased a NEW 24" double oven for $699.00...in excellent condition...no scratches, dents, no abnormalities. I went to pick it up today, it had been moved to the back, on the top handle there is a scratch, adjacent to it and on the right side is a large scratch, and there is a dent on the back right side with rust...the dent I could live with but the other is not acceptable...it appears an unpadded dolly was used to move the ovens. On 2/10/11, I paid $210 for a dinette set. I told the owner (Mike) that I would pick up the table around 2/28 (my move-in date). He rarely ever answered his phone. He agreed to deliver both 3/6 and 3/9 and was a no show without calling. Painting and Molding Masters did work for me recently, their price was competitive - not the lowest, the owner and others who did the work were pleasant. But their work was deplorable and I am still cleaning paint splattered on wood floors, paint spilled on carpet and fixing damages they did to my home. Beware of them...because you may like the price ...but you won't like the splattered paint and the moldings that were not done correctly. Have attempted to speak to them about this but they keep avoiding my calls and don't return my calls. read full review »

I ordered cabinets from RTA Cabinet Store and a matching piece of crown molding in the Chestnut Maple. The 8 ft piece of crown cost almost $40 and it was a joke. It was wrapped in what looks like plastic veneer and the dark line detail is drawn on with black marker. My 2 year old son could have made this. There is no way that anyone in their right mind would use this in their home. I have now attempted to contact the claims department 5 times with no response. It is sad that a company would misrepresent a product on their website and leave a customer hanging for such a small amount of money. I will never use them again. read full review »

This was my frist time going to this store and it will be my last. When I went in for a bed I was help and the girl who help me was nice. I was happy, I was told that my order would be to my house form the hours of 10am to 12pm the next day. I call that morning to see if the order would be on time I was told yes. at 12pm I call and was told that someone try to call, then when i told them that noone called i was called a lie. Buyer beware! In August my wife and I had someone knock on our door to inspect our roof for hail damage, which was a company name Roofing EMT and owned by James Landers from Saint Petersburg, Florida and Greg Bonner from Houston, Texas. We were told our roof had hail damage and Roofing EMT formerly Building EMT could help us get a new roof installed by filing a claim with our insurance company. For the protection of other consumers I would like to comment about Rodriguez Roofing in Franklinton, NC . This contractor did our roof and it was a nightmare. This guy is a total con artist At first I was very pleased at the very low price I was quoted...almost half the price of other contractors. but I learned there was a reason for this. They promise that within 6 hours of 5 cm of snow, they will dispatch trucks. This has never happened. They at minimum have taken from 12 hours up to 2 days after the snow event, and only after 3-4 phone calls. Almost never answer the phone and voice mail is always full. bought a $1800.00 oven ts series three years ago...now I know that Maytag did not make the oven igniter switch...but boys you better start buying from a better manufacturer. Parts plus labor $200.00.
It sure does put a black eye on your company when you pay that much for an appliance and fork out more $$$ for inferior parts. Needless to say I am a little disappointed. read full review »

For those who are planning to hire a contractor; DO NOT HIRE VERIA CONSTRUCTION; they are dishonest, irresponsible, greedy and rude; they will con you into giving them big bucks and buy cheap supplies they will only do the worst job and never come back. they will tell you you do not need a permit when you actually do. also the project that they did, we hired another contractor to redo it. After originally refusing to acknowledge that the part was under warranty, they were eventually convinced. However they refunded only their cost for the part despite having charged me double that (plus labor). Got 3 quotes and theirs was the middle one. Paid over $14, 000 for a new roof with some deck replacement. Owner was not on job site until end. One roofer fell through our cathedral ceiling and damaged a keyboard. They reduced price for the damage by $2k which was appropriate. Ordered new Sante Fe Infrared Sauna from SaferWholeSale.com, received a used floor model / demo unit from them. After explaining this to both sales and customer service, both claimed that I was shipped a new unit. Not only is it annoying that I received a product that was not new, now I have customer service telling me that dirty sauna floors, warped top, gouges in wood walls and base, broken heater racks, fingerprints all over glass panels and door, and big price tag hanging from already assembled door is considered new. Furniture was delivered in the evening. In the morning we could see the couch and chair did not match. We called that morning to inform them. They refuse to replace either piece to match. Then two months after we used the furniture, the stitching came out on the couch at the bottom. Only two old people use it--us! They have done nothing to rectify the problem because we 'signed' the paper when it was delivered. My girlsfriend's boss, keeps making her feel unconfortable by commenting on her body and making allusion to his desire to touch her, make allusion to his sexual fantasm with her even though she keeps telling him that it's not respectfull and that she wants him to stop it. Very unpleasant experience with these people. Be sure to have the salespeople put everything in writing. First, the mattress set was delayed for days. Then, when they finally did deliver it, it was not the same as the one in the store. To make a long story short, we were told we could get a full refund, then they reneged and said we’d have to pay a 25% restocking fee and a pick up fee.
