I've had a very similar problem with not just one of the Ultra Tan stores. It seems all they hire is filthy mouthed young girls to run these businesses. I've never seen such trash in all my life. On the website they say that you can return shoes at the store to save on the return shipping but when you get to the store they tell you that you have to ship it back because "they cant balance it". I bought a pair of Reebok Easy Tones, I wore them for my 1 hour a day walk for 4 weeks. The bottom of the shoe wore off into the air pocket of the sole and the shoes were not longer any good. I exchanged them for another pair and the same thing is happening again, these shoes are 4 day away from being 4 weeks old. I recently became eligible for Medicare, and as such asked AIM to cancel my plan effective 3/1/2010. They took money from my checking account for the months of Jan 2010, and Feb 2010, but cancelled my plan effective 1/1/2010. On April 21, 2010, I contacted them by phone about this, and was assured they would send back the 2 months premiums. As of May 24, 2010 they have not done so. I found out about the cancellation when they denied payment for a mammogram in Jan 2010, and sent an EOB stating I did not have insurance on that date. We purchased a gift certificate for $100 Xmas 2009. It was used in Feb and April 2010. They didn't want to honor it in April claiming it had expired. Fl Statute 501.95 indicates all gift certificates sold after 2007 can not contain an expiration date nor charge any surcharge fees. Cut my hand on a broken water glass doing dishes and had to go to local emergency room for stiches.
