Purchased one on Dec 6th, opened it up for christmas and charged up only to find the battery will not charge. They say I need to shop it back, at my expense to have it tested. If its' defective it will be replaced. I also got caught in this scam. They at least sent an email confirmation and I found their 800# on all of the charges they put on my card through my online banking acct. They operate under different names and have different phone numbers so it's difficult to track them, let alone know what the actual name of the company is to try and track them. I called the number that was on my bank statement a couple ties now and I have talked to people saying I will get a refund for my $88 charge after the trial bottle. Ordered slimclip online, then try to cancel order; however it takes 48 hours for customer service at 800-428-1600 to receive order. Tried canceling through the website link that was sent to me via email, waited 48 hours and received no cancellation email. EGeneralMedical had a misleading ad linked to Amazon.com. Along side other suppliers offering 3 tubes of Pernox scrub for around $ 60, they had an ad for $ 50. They only sent 1 tube, however. (Most suppliers sell one tube for around $ 20, not $50.) After being called out on their misleading ad, they said they were going to remove it from the Amazon site -- what they should of done is send everyone who got conned by the their ad an extra two tubes. In Texas, there is no sales tax on grocery/food items. Backroads Bakery, Inc. sells fried pies. These have long been classified as non-taxable food items, however, at least one of their retail sellers are charging sales tax on the fried pies to retail customers. Backroads claims to have 80 stores selling their fried pies, so if all 80 stores are collecting sales tax, this is a massive amount of taxes being collected from customers on an item that is non-taxable. I go to the store and order a sonic bacon cheeseburger just like it says on the menu board and the always give me the bacon cheeseburger toaster. There is a difference. Today i gave them the benefit of doubt and went there again and I had to wait 25 minutes and when i got my food it was like they put it into a cooler it was so cold. I ordered the free sample like most on here, however after not ever recieving my free sample after 10 days I researched Acai Berry scams on the internet and saw how everyone was being charged $80 for the product when it was supposed to be free samples. I then tried to find thier number, eventually found it, and called it multiple times daily to cancel before this ammount was taken from my account. I'm getting hit with unauthorized charges. $9.95 that I was able to speak to a live person about and told her to stop them, and then there is also $4.95 being charged w/o my authorization and I cannot get through to a live person to get it stopped. On November 7, 2006 we bought a Kenmore HE2Plus washer. We were in the market for a heavy duty top load washer. The sales man we talked to told us about the front washers and how they save water and are more reliable than a top load washer.
