Management is terrible. The pay is low. Benefit packages is really not much benefits. Looks good, but not good. Be careful working for the company. They may file a lawsuit on you/do not pay you. I purchased a pair of Fendi sunglasses for my wife that are adorned with the Fendi logo in Swarovski crystals. The crystals have ‘dulled’ to a point where they appear quite unattractive. This is a for-profit organization that relies on donations from the community in which it is located. However, Valu Village has restrictive return policies. I was in the Fairbanks store on Feb 12, 2011. The store was packed and the dressing rooms unavailable. My experience with Valu Village in the past has been the dressing rooms are filthy. Placed an order on January 11 for my son's party on the 29th. After three weeks, I still had not received my order. I sent two emails that were never answered. I received only part of my order today, Feb 3rd. Finally I was able to get a hold of someone through Live Chat who said I should have gotten an email when they shipped my stuff saying they had a system failure & that they were behind, voiding their promise to ship within 2 -4 business days.
