We were overcharged by JMR movers two hours for our move, or $180.00. JMR movers also damaged furniture, ashed their cigarettes on our book shelf, left cigarette butts all over our property, and took two and a half hours to arrive at the final destination, which is a 40 minute car ride. Same thing as the other person's complaint. They called asked them to remove my phone number the lady hung up. Called them back twice and she hung up on me both times. Called to request a manager hung up again. Called and finally was able to get her to not hang up at first by telling her I did want to speak with an Agent just to get the name of the company. I also made the mistake of coming across these individuals and "company". I filled a form with all kinds of questions and also I was requested to give my landline telephone number as they would use this to verify I had not stolen the card. That was annoying enough as I have been making purchases for years in Amazon, flight tickets etc without having to stand by the telephone like a spinster. Further, they state no payment will be posted until order is ready which was indeed a couple days later. They give no telephone number to reach them and do not respond to emails. Thanh Nhut Video is as confusing to find as the name itself. It is in some remote corner of Westminster, CA. United Relocation vanlines seems to also be known as Peak Vanlines and possibly other names. They have the same woman, Lian, working for them and agressively market offering what seems like a low rate. Broadband connectivity issue. I have been facing connectivity issue for 6 month and made several complaints at Helpdesk and personally at BSNL office, but issue doesn't resolve. I had applied a broadband internet connection from hathway in Bangalore on 14th August 2009 .I paid the advance of Rs/-1000 on that day. On 17th Aug, I was told that they could not provide me the connection ang will be giving me refund The catch is that they do not tell you to contact the accounts department for claiming the refund. I had to find out myself. And the refund/accounts department had the incompetence greater than their field engineers. I dont know how long they are going to take to process one cheque of 1000 rupees.
