Angies List is a for profit business that attempts to give reports on good expereinces and bad experiences on business's around the US.
Angies List advertises that, companies do not pay to be listed on our service, consumers do.
BUT,
Nothing stops business owners from paying for the service and writing something positive about their own business..
How do consumers know that the person posting something positive about the business does not have financial gain from doing so?
If you want to do a more detailed background check on business, I reccomend going to the Better Business Bureau. read full review »

This is what happened to me.
I signed up for treasuretrooper back in January. I started getting lots of referrals, but did none of the offers. I was not required to do any of the offers. I ended up getting 66 Level 1 referrals and 180 level 2 referrals.
I was making about $120-180 per month just from referrals up until this month. I had $140 dollars that they owed me for the month and had to send me the check, when I noticed it changed to $0.00 instead I was like WTF so I sent an email to the admin and he said I should start doing... read full review »

Just to let everyone know, that might be interested in signing up to this site...do not do it! They say sign up for 4 dollars and it puts you into a randomizer and you than receive 4 dollar payments from other people that sign up. Well, you end up paying 12 dollars total, and than at the end, it says there was an error, and you must start over again, paying another 12 dollars...but when you check your account, the payments did go through, and your stuck without a membership, and lost your money. read full review »

I've noticed loads of threads going up about Hostgator recently. The scam goes like this.
They only charge $10 a month for 'unlimited domain hosting'.
Problem is, they stick you on a server with 5000 other people, so your sites are for ****.
Their IPs are all blakclisted because spammers love hostgator, and you will get associated with them because you all share the same IP, and google now apparently automatically downgrades hostgator - hosted websites, because 99% of their clients just throw up... read full review »

Welcome to Access Scams - the purpose of this website is to make public the SCAM that ACCESSTRIPS.COM is making with everybody that wants to work for them developing a tour. I developed a tour for them and I was promised high commissions and other rewards, as well as the job of leading my tours. I wanted to order a boxed gift set of the old Mission Impossible series for my wife's birthday. After a month and a half and a series of e-mails, chats and telephone calls (calls were never answered) I gave up.
I wrote them an e-mail cancelling my order. They wrote back saying they'd pass it along. YEAH, RIGHT!

I only paid for their OPTION one month service $7.95 then they never submit my website to the serch engine. I emailed they never answer also they used fake 1800 phone# can't contact, they never answer my email.
i login to my account and saw they set to 200 hits visitors to my website, but i never got any single hit from search engine they promissed :-(

Been an ittakes2 member for more than a year, and i have realised recently than ittakes2 is one big scam, i mean the emails, and winks i get from members are ok, but the pic's are soo old, delapidated, they look really out of place, and when i receive an email, it is totaly about nothing, i mean it, i would love to see how they write those emails.

So it turns out that slashmysearch.com is NOT A SCAM after all. I have been using it for a little over a month and i got paid out after about 2 weeks. It was only a check for $45.74 :) but thats better than nothing. It's just another search engine like google, except you get paid to use it. This happened to me this week, I figured it was a scam but I wanted to see how far he would go.

This is a website which seems to have every drug there is out there. They even have a number you can call thinking you are going to talk to real live person when in reality this number just keeps ringing and ringing with no voicemail or any other sort of greeting. They explain in order to get the meds. You must list the name of your doctor, and among other things which I happily agreed and did. Then they sell the meds at amazing low prices however. Don't use the site. It's a service that that you can get for free from the Social Security Government website. They run a fine line of legality that has been looked into. They will NOT refund your money. They say that the money is for consulting, customer service, and broadband usage.
1st of all, you don't need the get the form from them...so the broadband usage is something that you are paying for...but could get for free.
2nd they don't do any consulting b/c the form is pretty self explanitory.

Many overseas men and women run scams. They pretend to get to know and like you and once you fall for them they start asking you for money. Thousands of women and men have been sucked into this scam, wiring money to a guy or girl they never met and never hearing from her again (or hearing from her asking more money). If the person you are communicating with asks you for money, watch out.

We all know about the T.erms of Service from this company. They offer free gifts in exchange for signing up for some offers.
LOOK OUT for the small print: You have to sign up for each offer for a 3-month period. If you're smart and do the math you'll realize is not worth the trouble or the wait, since you have to wait at least 4 to five months to get your gift, and you only get the gift if you fit within their T.erms and Conditions which state you must pay all this offers for 3 months.

I came across this site called http://www.thenpn.biz it caught my intrest so i decided to give it a try. they had the program setup where you could buy leads from them and they would automatically put the leads into an autoresponder for you. I got scammed by http://3000adaytheeasy.com . I paid $3100 and since I paid my money I have not been able to reach them by phone or email. I call and leave messages and have emailed them so many times I am absolutely tired both physically and mentally.
Has anyone else lost money to them and if so what can someone do about it? I have filed with a few law enforcement agencies months ago and now I can't get them to tell me anything either. On their site they claim 931, 886 affiliates, so does this mean I am the only one to get it in the butt?

We found an ad for a packaging assistant in the local nickle ads. I was recently trying to sell a ps2 on ebay. It sold and the next day I got an email from ebay saying do not ship it because they used fraudulent means to pay. So I refunded the money and relisted it. It sold again to the same guy on a diffrent account, so I refunded the money again not wanting to deal with him and relisted it. The next day it sold to a different person. Not a single one materialised & one month passed . I lost $ 10.
I had bad time while cancelling my membership. The cancellation link was not opening.

and i found nothing.
I go to the BCA bank, and asking about the profile of this fraud.
The bank said they cant give us the details.
But they said they open their account in Denpasar area, Bali.
I check the phone, yes some one answer the phone, but with bad English and lil bit nervous.
The phone number is cellphone not local phone/home phone/office.

I have 4 PTC sites that are not paying me and they never answer/return any e-mails I send them and I thought maybe the other members of this site should be made aware of them.
The 4 are the following:

I would usually never put people or companies down on this but I have to talk about Q and ecosov.800. First of all I joined ecosov.800 last December and I did ok at first and then it just stopped. There is a crook around here with Id: "Derrik" that has been cheerleading, promoting this scam brainlessly to innocent sheeps. He is a known crook on the internet. These guys are EXTREMELY DISHONEST!
I won an Ebay action for some wheels & tires.
I said I'd have FedEx pick up on my account,
but then they insisted they ship via UPS at the www.RVMwheelz.com's inflated price of course...
