I bought a 62" HDTV (Mitsubishi) from Best Buy in November of 2005 and paid $400 for a 4 year extended warranty. In the approximate three year time frame of owning this television it has been broken three separate times with an average repair time of 1.5 months and the longest time being over 2 months. I have been through 4 dryers in just 4 years. the first one had bad pipe threads on the inlet and outlet. the second one burnt out the compressor, the third one did the same, so they gave me a whole new model. this one keeps blowing fusus and they won't even speak to me now. This company, Grant Research Guide, sells a program or CD for $2.95 giving the buyer access to all kinds of grant programs they supposedly would never be able to access by themselves. I subscribed to Restmart.com advertising in 2005. I did not get the results I wanted and stopped using them within six months time though I had been charged for a year. In 2006 I was charged again ($300.00) and when I caught it and called to complain they said 'too bad' as it was beyond the 30 day window to report credit card abuse. The broker from this outfit, Karl Magnusson, completely disregarded my wishes at several points during this process which lead ultimately to a rejected loan application. I just had a move done by AAA Movers Inc. I was moving a two bedroom apartment I found the company online. When I called I spoke to Lana she gave me a quote which said 3 men at $70hr for 6 hrs estimated time and all packing materials are additional and that the movers will not move the belonging unless they are properly packet well I didnt think anything of it. I purchased my desktop in April 2004, purchase price $589.00, $79.00 for a 3 year warranty which will run out in April. Nov.28th a service tech (#659) came to the house to fix the microwave. The part that he had was broken (fan), so he took the fan off the old component and put it on the new one. Using the Microwave, approximately ten minutes after he left, the fan started hitting something within the microwave. It was on one of the first weekends that Fina opened in Los Altos. As I was making my purchase, I accidentally knocked over a jewelry stand near the register. One of the owners, Ron Barajas, loudly sighed and went to pick up the items that fell. I thought that was really rude of him. Within a year of owning the Cuisinart coffeemaker DTC 975 series, I had it replaced once; the second pot malfunctioned within 2mos. Total cost of shipping on my part approx. $20. for each replacement. Told by Co. rep. out of thousands of coffeemakers there may be 50 defective. I of course received two of them. The room was dirty and had a horrible odor. The bathroom at the airport was cleaner than the bathroom in our room. The shower was rusted and there were bugs in the room. The staff is rude and not helpful. When I complained to the manager on duty she acted as though her lunch was more important than customer service. She was ignorant and condescending.
