I recently purchased a natural gas water heater from Home Depot. The telephone operator that processes phone orders told me the installation charge would be $200. He also said there was the "possibility of more charges to meet code". When I asked what code, he said "building code for your county". OK--so I may have to pay an extra $50 or so. In May, I requested replacement for several sets of magnetix in my home that were in the recall after the death due to the magnets becoming dislodged (NY TIMES) The company sent the bags in which to ship the magnetix sets back - I shipped them, and months later, tried to get an answer to where the replacements are, but no one returns my emails on their site. I received a collection notice from Afni Inc. acquired from Verizon Florida Inc. They stated I owed $466.65 for disconnected phone (813)717-7893. I have never had service with Verizon. I have lived at this location since 1974 and had AT&T and Bellsouth for My telephone service the entire time and the service is in my husbands name. I have used Tops Cigarette Tobacco to roll my own cigarettes for awhile then was buying cigarettes by the pack. They are now too expensive so I went back to roll my own. I just bought a 3/4 oz box of Tops Tobacco from Republic Tobacco LP and it was terrible. I wasn't even close to a third of the bag and was pulling out chuncks of stems that stuck my fingers over 1 inch long and a quarter inch wide!! I pulled at least 10 of these out of the package. Cavalier told me that since I was porting my number, I had to establish regular phone service and DSL and get a dial tone and service with them first. Then I would have to order Phonom VOIP. They waived the fees to make this easier. I have never experienced worse home repair customer service than at Sears. I called Sears to have my gas dryer repaired for my summer home. I was told that there was a 2 week wait, a $75 charge just to come out, additional labor and parts (around $350). In need, I agreed and set aside that Saturday to drive the 75 miles to my house. The coiambedu Omni Bus Terminus is fully occupied by middle mans. They are creating hype and hick in the ticket prices for Southern Districts . They are creating illusion that all tickets are sold out, if you want tick for coming Deepawalli journey you have to pay nearly 500 rupees. For example if you want to take a ticket from Chennai to Pudukkottai or Trichy we have to pay 450 Rupees to 500 Rupees ( The normal rate is 150 to 170 Rupees). They lied on when they would pick up the stuff from my home, i should have taken that signal because it only got worse. My stuff came 2 months after the date i was told it would come. and only after threatening to sue and my lawyer doing some paperwork did they realize that i mean business and i will sue their ass off. I am holding SBI GOLD Credit card from last six months. I am not getting the bills on time and messages from sbi card. Apart from that i when i told this to sbi people, i am getting harrasing calls from sbi call centre, delhi. its really annoying and unreasonable act from sbi that without sending the bill they are harrasing the gold card holder members. now, they have charged me some heavy interest and financial charges. while i asked for the explaintation, they have nothing to say except harrasing calls for payment.
