Last year my wife made a simple Q and the motel franchisee barred her from ever coming back for her trouble. Today she is in California staying at a Holiday Inn Express. The hot tub didn't work. She told the manager about it; he thanked her, apologized profusely for the inconvenience and gave her 10% off her bill. See, that's the way it's supposed to work; you don't slam a customer for asking an inocuous question. I've never met the Seaside, Oregon, Motel 6 owner, but I would like to - the man must be from another planet and he has my curiosity aroused what he looks like. read full review »

By far, the worst hotel experience ever. We were given a room that faced the parking lot on the ground floor. At 3am a belligerent man started banging on our door and yelling at us-there was another man behind him. We told him to leave . He persisted and demanded we open the door. We then contacted the front desk it was unmanned -an out of hours number was left so we called that . Sent a courier from Ahmedabad in Gujarat to Banaswadi in Bangalore. The company situted at richmond road refused to deliver the package saying that Banswadi was too far. My husband and I stayed at the Candlewood Suites in Bloomington/Normal IL for ISU's homecoming. We checked in on October 12, 2007. Upon check in we were advised our adjoining rooms were not available however we could have rooms across from each other. This was suitable to the other couple we were with who are elderly. When we got to the room, it had a slightly unpleasant odor but not enough for us to want to move ourselves and the other couple. My husband committed suicide. When i went to the Police Depart. to ask for a copy of the police report (not the incident report), they refused to give me one. I asked why, i was told cuz they don't do that. I asked if i could just read it there in front of them, they said no. As we taken off from Dubai my seat broke when we were in the air i reported it to the cabin crew. When we all so taken off from Singapore the same thing happen so i reported it again still the cabin crew did any thing about i had to fly all the way to Brisbane in a broken seat. He just comes off as this holier than thou who you can just see his feelings about whatever he is reporting. I watched him on Oprah Winfrey and thought here is a fair, hardworking guy. My family and I stayed at the Wilderness hotel and golf resort in Wisconsin Dells, their water parks were so dirty and the food at the Wild Canyon cafe was terrible and expensive. I talked to a few managers and they gave me a 25 dollar gift card, to remmedy the complaint. Then, when I called and repeated my complaints and asked policy about maintence of the subject areas, he said the life guards are responsible for clean-up of the waterpark areas, GROSS. I recently booked a flight through easy jet for me and my friend for paris, we were to book it online. We got to the confirm page and confirmed my details as well as my credit card and the page froze, not sending me a confirmation email. We waited and did it again as we were keen to get the flight, again same problem. Easy jet has now taken the amount out of my credit card twice, and i am not booked on the flight. I bought a $2000.o0 vacation package from GVC while touring the Mayan Resort (in April, 2007). Have been trying to book a GVC vacation for months and nothing is available. I had my travel wallet stolen. All other travel loyalty programs were pleased to provide replacement cards to encourage my continuing use of their services, except for ASIA MILES, which required a payment of $20 or 2,000 miles to replace my card. (And unlike other programs, production of the card is necessary to claim many rewards or to earn miles.) Moreover, Asia miles expire regularly even if you are an ongoing, regular earner of the miles. This is in sharp contrast to every other loyalty program that I know of. Their anti-consumer attitude amazes me. Stay away from Asia Miles. I know I will in the future. read full review »

Besides the fact that this company over sells all of it's resorts making the points you sell nearly unusable as is documented by others on this site, beware if you consider working there. Wyndham advertises on the largest job search websites but the hooks they use are so close to outright lies its impossible to discern.
