Our flight was not cancelled due to weather. I watched many, many flights on your airline and others take off. I checked with other carriers and all of the scheduled flights to Chicago were not cancelled. We had to make quick arrangements to Kill Devil Hills for a funeral. We booked through hotels.com and thought it would be an okay place. Spinnaker purposely used deception and fraudulent misrepresentation in getting us to sign a contract and sign over to them a unit that we had paid $8900 for by telling us one time and writing something entirely different. In March of 2001 the Wyoming Highway Patrol seized about $10, 000. worth of AMEX travellers checks from me. Subsequently they turned the checks over to the US Secret Service. I would like to share the nightmare we experienced with Emirates Airline. My husband who is a national from India but married and living in South Africa decided to travel with emirates for a short holiday to India. He left SA and had no problems with his visa but when he arrived back to SA he was told that his visa was not proper. I made this reservation at 3:00 on Fri. for my husband & 2 sons (10, 12) for that night. When I pulled up Yahoo "hotels" I didn't check the calendar as it typically pulls up the current date. They were cought not changing the sheets between guests. If it weren't for a stain on the top sheet, who would know. I called for the maid to change the top sheet and when she removed it the same stain was on the pad below - which means the sheets were the same from from previous guests. Here is the letter that I send to Sandals customer service - I emailed them and recieved no response, so I maiiled in a letter as well. I never recieved any type of response from Sandals in response to my issues. I would not recommend these resorts to anyone. Radisson Resorts & Casinos offers an Online Rate Guarantee on their website whereby if you can find a lower rate online, they will give you the lower rate PLUS an additional 25% off the rate. I found a lower rate (much lower) on Expedia for the Radisson in Tahiti; however, Radisson denied my claim on the ridiculous basis that the hotel rates were charged in local currency and therefore they had no way to compare the rates, even though, their website provides a currency calculator to convert rates in USD before you book. We were not able to leave the hotel for 2+ days and nights because of lack of snow removal. Elevator broke and still no urgency. Hotel never called and never even offered to open up their breakfast coffee bar.
