This retailer is terrible and scores a complete ZERO on customer service; they do not get what it means to be in a customer facing industry. My item arrived 13 days after I placed the order (on a thursday). I called first thing Monday to return some of the items and they said it was past the 14 day window. I purchased a dinette set from American Signature Homes and within 6 weeks I noticed water damage to the point the paint was bubbling and scratched off. They represent to you on the phone that you can pay as you go and set your own schedule, but actually will bill you for an entire semester regardless of how many classes you actually take. This can be around $6, 000 dollars. Even if you withdraw from a class, they will continue to bill you for the remaining classes that you do not take, and then turn your account over for collection years later ruining your credit history. This company places job ads in newspapers and on craigslist daily. Their ads will read somethiing like customer service or customer relations 400/wk base pay etc. When you call for an iinterview they won't discuss who they are or exactly what they do either. The interviewer was also very shady. It turns out they are door to door rainbow vacuum cleaner sales. I purchased a projector and extended maintenance agreement which City Assure managed. My projector broke down and I called, they sent a tag/box to mail the projector off to be reviewed. It was deemed unrepairable. City Assure then spent between 8 and 10 business days trying to determine a replacement projector. This company is the worst. IF you must get a payday loan stay away from Ace. I filled out a online application. The next thing I know they just deposit money in my account. I called and told the rep I had not authorized this to happen she said that some people auto qualify and that it happens. I request loan information on my account it took them almost a month to send. Discovered charge on my ATT invoice. Called number 800.215.1961. They said someone with my number clicked on an web site and, as part of the clicking, the phone number was signed up for this service. It is not clear how this happened. I assume there was small print somewhere indicating the signup, but it got by whomever it was in my household or acquaintances who was browsing the internet. Similar story - I was called and told that I would receive a free cartridge on a program to compare my current cartridge to theirs. I was also told I would never see an invoice.
