In May 2007 I was charged $3.24 for something I never ordered, called the company and was told they would refund my money and they never did. ON August 24, 2009, I was charged again for the same amount. I just gof off the phone talking to them, I found out that its a Canadian Web base company. My due date fell on a Saturday. Their online payment service doesnt allow you to pick a date in advance for payment to post. So I usually pay either the day before or on the due date. When I logged into my account to make my payment GE had already tacked on a 39.99 late charge. I ordered a Magic Jack and had problems since the very beginning with sound quality. It was so bad I could not carry on a conversation. Then all my contacts disappeared on a regular basis. August 2009 Phone bill with Verizon NW showed a third party transaction charge for $14.95 plus tax and fees from Verizon NW that I did not know about or authorize. This was by far the worst experience buying glasses I have ever had! I represent many consumers. I am a single mother who got laid off. I applied for foodstamps online. The notice was printed out on 8/18. The Envelop was stamped on 8/19. They claim that I have a debt with Capital One, But I have never had a Capital One account as verified with Capital One directly even confrenced them in to hear this. They (riddle) also claims that they will send proof of this debt and have claimed to have sent it 5 times over the past 6 months yet nothing ever arrives. I contacted this company for various projects in my apartment. The alleged owner, Christopher Purnell came to my apt. and explained his business model. In short, he charges for his estimates. The owner of this company should be jailed. I unwittingly paid $75 for an estimate for a bathroom renovation. Owner Chris seemed professional and was to get back to me with a written estimate and layout ideas for my bathroom. The estimate fee was to be applied towards the job. Well the thing is that i never heard from the owner again. All calls/emails have been ignored. Hard to belive people like this exsist . Lesson learned for me. J&K2 was solicited to install approximately 80sqft of granite countertop 102407. On the date of installation I asked the J&K2 to stop installation, i was not pleased with how the installation was looking. they assured me that the installation would be as i requested. The owner, Michael Ishay Ravey showed up at my office to fix a blue screen, cashed the $245 check on the way home and although the problem returned the same day I never saw him again.
