The cost was $39.00 for the programm that should have supplied me TV with 3500 TV channels on my computer. The web site accepted my VISA payment and allowed me to download their software. Site claims to offer trustworthy reviews of third party sites, software, electronics, etc. They are a paid reviewer. Where a reviewer is paid, the review can and will be biased. They appear to review everything yet they specialize in nothing. They list links and graphics ads directly linked to product suppliers. They appear to be nothing more than an electronic catalog. When thinking of using this site for its advertised purpose, consider this, would a Sears catalog offer negative opinions about products they stand to benefit from. My problem is with the "Good Sam" RV club. They are in the business of selling worthless extended protection plans. They sell you this plan when you buy an RV that is 10 years old or newer, for 10% of your purchase price. I had a claim the first year. The jacks wouldn't work. They denied the claim. The second year I had a claim leaking air bags. They denied it also. I appealed to the department manager, a man named Scott, who said, "you don't really expect us to pay out money on an 8 year old rv, do you? I completed a 6 week research on my cigarette purchases, which ended on August 9th, 2010. It was clearly stated that checks would have been mailed out 6-8 weeks from end date. This company sends sales reps around to your home. They then make you think you can earn a Rainbow Sweeper. They set you up on what they call a 21 program. Where you demonstrate the Rainbow to 21 of your family and friends then you must sell one when you are finished with your 21. I paid them to dig up the rock and dirt, down to the weed barrier, and replace new weed barrier and dirt and then new rock on top all around the house, and about three foot out from the house. Comcast hired some third party partner to do unauthorise business with their customer. I had service with comcast for 5 years now without lease. They set me up by changing my account information base on the plan, and charge me over for upgrade service which I didn't give them permission. I called Nerds On Call to repair some basic problems I was having with my computer. They sent an on-site "technician" to "fix" the problems and downloaded all sorts of their software on my machine. The computer's performance actually got worse! They sold me on a service where technicican's can site your computer to repair it. After 8 hours, they left my machine with the inability to watch any videos (you tube, etc.) I finally had to take the machine to another shop and have everything they did un-done and spent $ for that.
