I had purchased this Tata Indicom Connection in November 2005 and from that till May 2007, the Tata Indicom Network working smoothly. My Dataone connection has been down for last one week. I have complained to them many-a-times, and have even been to their office to get some help to get it fixed. I get a standard response from them that the technician will definitely come by end of the day and resolve it. Still, no success. Is there a way to get the internet working at all? I traveled by carona-Bus, on 13-9-07, at 21-31 hrs from chennai to Bangalore. From Koyembedu -chennai. We have a HSBC Visa card this is the first time we used it, it is a joint card, we have misplaced the bill that we received and tried to find the outstanding amt from customer service but dint get any help saying we dont have pin number, one fine day we got a call saying outstanding amt to be paid, we asked to arrange a pickup as payment centers are far but they said it is not possible, they charged 1000 charges. Problem 1. The combination of shades/colors of the base screen, the letters and digits on the screen and the transparent cover/window over the screen get so merged that it is not (NOT) possible to read anything in the open daylight. One possible working solution is to change the shade of the transparent cover/window over the screen to near colorless. Problem 2. The glowing of the screen is rather too short (time-wise). This complaint is on my father's behalf who is over 70 is having the hardest time with ICICI direct customer service. Just over a year ago he visited India and set up a trading account to sell his one and only share holding. He was told he could only do so through a trading account. I took a postpaid connection in june 2007 on the assurance that psychical copy of the bill will be delivered timely. However no bills are received. When i complain at customer service they register a compliant. They say we are sending duplicate bill but no bill is received the the staff at customer service is helpless. I cant shift the service provider as the set sold has the sim sealed. I have wasted 12000/- for set. A total of about 30 complaints in 3 months with no results.
