I purchased a product protection plan for two items I bought from Radio Shack. WHen both failed (headphones), I called to get them replaced per the plan. I was told that I had to take the items into my local Radio Shack for them to be inspected. I took my item into the Radio Shack store in the Greenway Shopping Center (7000 block of Greenbelt Road)in Greenbelt, Maryland. Several years ago the guy that owns this company was caught scamming numerous customers - basically taking large amounts of money for skydiving gift certificates that did not actually exist. He appears to be resurfacing again with the same old deal. Over the past two weeks he has blanketed our county with illegally placed signage, which is taken very seriously here. I was guaranteed a free vacation and purchased an 8, 000 package vacation plan. I made a $100.00 deposit for the free vacation and when i called to book the trip 6 months later they stated that they emailed me to book the reservations and never replied so I lost the oppurtunity to have the free trip. I never received the email from them and they never told me that I needed to book the vacation within a certain time frame. This company has great food, but they are seriously challenged with their service and operations. They have an online delivery service which tells you when to expect the order. My time was 45 minutes. The first time I ordered, I got a call 10 minutes later asking me a question about my order. As she's hanging up the phone, she says, "okay, that will be an hour and 15 minutes." Staff is discriminatory and uses their own personal biased to deny valid members access to the facilities. Had this occur on several occasions - new staff members behave as if the facility is their personal place of residence and use personal biased to deny members access regardless of whether a member has a valid membership. Automatic sent 2nd merchandise and charged my credit card without promission. I have never been noticed that rule. When I went to ups to return merchandise with their returned lable, UPS could not locate the address on the lable. I called to obtain correct address. After they received the returned merchandise, the credit back my account without the handling and shipping charge. I lost my UPS shipping fee $11.58 plus their handling fee $15.98, total lost $27.56 They make the commercial sale on TV and cheating people. We contracted with Blue Haven Pools of Pensacola / Panhandle (Gulf Breeze, FL) in 2006 to install our pool, spa, waterfall and retaining wall.
