I ordered three items from North Style in August. One item came to me a week later. We are now coming onto the fourth week-and the other two items (the most expensive) have not yet arrived. When I spoke to North Style, they stated that it would take 10 days to get from Boston (where they are located) to DC (the area where I lived). When I pointed out that it had been 20 days, they were very dismissive. I have been coming to this place for years. I recently had a routine oil change and then they damaged my car. I won't get into any details but let's just say there is now thousands of $$$ (5, 600) in repairs needed to my car as a result of their negligence. Furthermore, I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. They MAY have decent customer service skills (or so they claim); but their technicians are 2nd rate at best. This Tri-Star company sent a rep to our door and offered us an extended warranty on our Vortech Vacuum. We took it because our machine is older and they said they would send us a new special filter and 48 bags. It cost us $295 and 8 months later, our vacuum is now completely broken, and we never have received the bags. I called them 3 months ago and it took WEEKS to return my call. They promised to send me a belt and never did. I have called them 3 times in the past 4 weeks, and they have yet to return my call. On Friday, September 24, 2010 I called Classic Carriers USA and spoke with Dane Beaumont. I ask Dane about the car lugagge rack that his company is advertising if they have a rack for a Toyota MR2. This merchant advertises as accepting credit cards. They display Visa and Discover card logo stickers within the store. They do not display a sign communicating that they insist on a $10 minimum for credit card purchases yet they will not allow purchases below that arbitrary dollar amount on credit cards. Look out if The barista makes a mistake because everyone on shift may join together to make the customer feel foolish for saying anything. The customer said she would not be returning to their place of business, she was given a quipy "OK".
